2:30 pushing a5 to prepare b5 and trap the bishop is a very common idea that you will see a lot in future games. It’s good to be on the lookout and make an exit path for your bishop such as a3 preemptively. You’ll start to recognize these patterns after you’ve seen them more and more.

Something I recommend is to look at the bishops and the queen before you castle. If they are able to easily slide over to the side of the board your king might castle to, you may want to hold off on castling. Something I like is that you think about what your opponent is going to do, it's a really useful skill in chess
