I don’t care what anyone says about the new playoff format. The Phillies deserve to be here. They’ve pulled off upset after upset and proven in 1 year that up to 6 teams can compete in the playoffs.

I grew up in the Philly area. My grandmother watched this team when they played at connie mack stadium. Outside of baseball season, she never cursed. When the game was on, she had the mouth of 20 year old sailor. I was a year old when this team won its 1st world series. My mom took me to the vet when i was 5. My gram and mom both turned me on to this team. They are both gone but if they were alive, they would be losing their minds over the craziness of this season. This team for us is generational
