I love stealth missions in the Spider-Man games. They really let you slow down and just watch Spider-Man clear out enemies with them being clueless, while your being super obvious. But this guy, he is literally just making the damn movies with his stealth play style.

Man dropped one of the hardest Spiderman stealth gameplay ever...
  • Batman: "A precise kick behind the knee will make him stumble, no chance to react with an attack. Tactical strangle on the larynx will deplete his brain of oxygen until he loses consciousness without dying." Spider-man: "If I punch him in the face hard enough he'll go to the ground without making a noise."
  • This is what a Spider-Man who was trained by Batman would be capable of and it's as terrifying as it is amazing.

Unlike Arkham, this game was built more towards Spidey going in and fighting the targets with a lot of flashy stuff. Stealth seems to be more of a softening-up method over being a main tool, unlike Batman, who, lore-wise, uses stealth to intimidate people as well as thin numbers. People with the patience and skill can pull off this in Spider-Man, but guys like me only do it for bonus objectives and then go 'f this' and start causing chaos

You can tell he's an arkham player if he's brutal but smooth with it.

if there’s one thing Arkham Batman and insomniac Spider-Man have in common, it’s not killing their enemies, rather liquifying their bones but keeping them “alive”

If Spider-Man and Batman ever teamed up, they’d be unstoppable.

The thing about stealth in SM1 (haven't played 2 yet) is that none of Spidey's moves feel quiet to the player, so it doesn't give you the "feeling" of stealth, even if nearby NPCs can't hear it. Like, Spider-Man smashes some guy's face into the floor and smacks his ass like a Victorian schoolteacher, and for some reason those are the animation and sound effects for one of the "stealth" moves. Also, I hate how they only allow you to play a small percentage of the game stealthily because only the first wave of enemies in a room will be unaware of you.

You know the Spider-Man gameplay is cold when they never once stop moving doing stealth. Sick stuff

I am an Arkham player and found this game incredibly challenging. Edit: I take this statement back. I played SM2 on the PS5 and it was hard. Playing Miles Morales and Spider-Man on the PC with an XBOX controller was a cakewalk and nothing compared to AC Unity or Arkham Knight.

I will never get tired of seeing this style of gameplay

Really prefer the sound effects the first game had over the 2nd game and it's wild how high Peter voice sounded in the first game.

I am vengeance, I am the night, I AM SPIDER MAN!!
  • The alternate universe where Peter Parker came home and found Bruce Wayne talking to his Aunt May instead of Tony Stark.
