Hello, @BeComingNyrell I love this video. These are GREAT questions to ask and some I never thought of. I'm considering becoming a house sitter to add to my travel abroad plan, will keep these questions in mind.
  • I just did my 1st housesit. Wish I had known to ask some of these, especially sleeping arrangements and the pets habits

This is a great list of questions. A lot of which I would not have thought to ask. I'm not necessarily in the market for a house sit but I will keep these in mind should that change.

I'm on a housesit now and you've brought to my attention some questions I had not thought about: deliveries, past interactions with sitters, medical issues ..writing these down thanks
  • Great questions. I'm on a sit now with 3 pets, one an indoor/outdoor cat. The expectation is that he can sleep in the same room with us. This was only a issue I identified recently as he sometimes eat things that don't agree with him. He literally threw up a large bone that looked almost as big as him. It also causes his waste to smell awful. Although he has use of two litter boxes he liked using the one late night in our room. I've had to make him sleep elsewhere as the smell woke me up and burned my eyes. I'm also scooping the boxes twice a day vs. once for our comfort.
