#SCORERELIEF2022 | Sketching my score with piano (part 1)

Published 2022-01-22
The Cue Tube, a platform for film makers, composers and sound designers starts a new competition. And I'll participate, of course... a matter of honour!

In this video I sketch my initial ideas with piano. This will later become a film score for orchestra.

I really hope to get my final version ready on time... So I should hurry up - the deadline is 31 January 2022!

Here's a playlist with all episodes:

Really like your thought process on this Andreas and how clearly you go about explaining this in the video.
  • Excellent video, Andreas. I love the way you demystify the process, and lay it all out so clearly. A fascinating and helpful insight, thank you.

Really nice to see how you work. I must try to use a Piano sketch more myself it looks really effective. My entry is already submitted anyway so I'll try a Piano sketch for my next piece of music. Thanks for the insight.

Very nice, thank you! Is that Logic? I did not know Logic had that score tab -- is that part of standard Logic? Oh yeah, I see that it is.
