  • I only had my car for month (2023 convertible 2LT Z51) and you are spot on about the amount of attention this car garners. This is my retirement car (I retire in December at 56) but I also considered the Porsche 911 turbo S. However, being an accountant, I'm always value conscious. The Porsche was literally twice as much as my C8. So the decision was made and I'm enjoying the hell out of this car.
  • Got all the same reactions that you mentioned. The car has been a conversation starter literally 100's of times. I'm a social guy, always enjoy meeting people so it works for me.

Yes your right I got mine in May 2021 red mist and the same things has happened to me I didn’t like all the Questions when I tried to go places and get things done but realized I was very fortunate to have something so special and made me feel special so now I try to take the time when someone wants to know about the car
  • Just took delivery on a new 2023 C8 2LT Z51 in Hypersonic Grey. It definitely turns heads! My 2014 C7 also brought a lot of attention as well.

Had mine 2 weeks. Feels like I'm famous. People taking pictures, cars following for long distances, kids in backseats of other cars going crazy. A car zoomed up right next to me aggressively while I was parked. I thought It might be a car jacking so I was ready. But it was just some overly zealous retiree who wanted to talk about the car.

I totally agree with you ... I can the same attention with my Accelerate Yellow C8 ... We are truly BLESSED!

Yes i get the same thing, most people don't even know what it is, Chevy did a great job building a very sexy looking sports car.

Over the course of my lifetime ( I am now 75), I have owned 2 Maseratis ( Bora & Merak) , 3 Ferraris (328, 355, 360), 5 Vipers ( Gen 1-5), 8 Corvettes and a Shelby 427 Cobra ( not the Mustang Cobra....the real Cobra). I just sold my C8 Corvette.....just got tired of it. The reason for selling it is that when it first came out, the WOW factor was there. After 4 years of ownership, the C8 is now a dime a dozen,...,...,they are everywhere. No one turns their heard anymore to look at it....and neither do I. Remember it is still a just a Chevy.
  • I have a 2021 Camaro it’s my first ever sports car. The amount of ppl that have stopped me in the past year and a half is crazy. I now have a new love for cars 😀. I’m saving for a Corvette now.
  • Agreed with people not recognizing the C8. I see a C8 in my area like once a month or 0 times. So I imagine almost everyone else here hasn’t seen one either. Someone asked me, “is that a Ferrari?” And I’m like, “I wish.” Not many people seem to know how Corvettes look like now. Park it outside a coffee shop and see the amount of people who can’t stop staring at it or talk about it.

I had C7 and one thing that was awesome was the practicality. I used to make trips to HomeDepot and it was hilarious to watch people surprised when I loaded bags of garden soil.

Oh hell no not knocking on the window. That's how people are with these Cybertrucks recently. I will say, at a car event vs at a gas station or going out to eat are two different things. Some people get uncomfortably close or approach in a sketchy way just to give a compliment or ask a question and I don't like that. Got a 3rd party GPS tracker when I had my hellcat and transferred it right to my C8 because I realize I have something a lot of people want and are envious of... I recommend you do the same hoss, get an IGLA or Revelco anti-theft system since you put in the video you're in urban Chicago. Only takes that one person willing to risk his/her life (or yours) or life in prison just to take a chance and taking it for themselves. Lot of people will say carry at all times but that's up to you if you want to go that route, lot safer to just track it down right away then hope you draw first and don't get caught lacking in my opinion.
  • Love your mindset bro if u got it might as well let others enjoy too
  • I’m going from a c7 grand sport to a 2023 c8 Accelerate Yellow Metallic imma pick it up next Tuesday .. I’m so exited seeing ur vidoe and the way u get attention from ur c8 .. I can imagine the attention I’ll get with the color I got ..

I've had my C8 for 10 months, and never had the comments you listed. Just nice car, or thumbs up.
