About The Daily Show with Jon Stewart:
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart was an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning program that looked at politics, pop culture, sports and entertainment through a sharp, reality-based lens. Stewart and The Best F#@king News Team Ever covered the day's top stories like no one, using footage, field reports and guest interviews to deliver fake news that was even better than the real thing.

"In FOX World poverty is a choice, but being racist is a product of your environment." <------ Nailed. It.

this is half a decade old and yet you could play this on tv next week and the overall message still hits the same

“Racism is on it’s last leg.” Unfortunately, it’s a frickin Paralympic champion.

Can someone give this guy... I don't know, all of the medals?

If you make excuses for racists being racist, you might be a racist.

I still miss Jon Stewart. Now don't get me wrong, I like Noah, but there will never be another who brings the facts and the hilarious righteous indignation like Stewart did.

As much as I adore Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Trevor Noah et al, this segment proves once again who the undisputed KING of political satire really is.

Thank god for John Stewart. Whenever things like this happens he always reminds me not everyone in the world is going insane.

Jon Stewart is irreplaceable. When he steps down, it will be like The Nothing from The Neverending Story swept through American news shows. There'll just be... nothing, to compare. Exceptionally good as John Oliver is, and he is doing a great job shining a torch into unfashionable injustices in American society, you need his sort of fearless anger, Jon Stewart's insight and willingness to take brave stands against vested interests, that sort of counterpoint, it's needed every day.
  • There will never be another John Stewart. He is beyond comprehension. A man a century before his time. Our children will look to this man with constant annoyance. Annoyed at US for never fucking listening. Thank you, John.
  • “How can those poor children know wrong from right, after being driven to madness by the irresistible power of the hippity-hoppety.” I can stop at honking about this .

"Bus Full of Racists" is my least favourite sitcom.

I remember my favorite part of the day was popping in front of the TV at 10:00 p.m. for the daily show with John Stewart. His mannerisms, viewpoints, sarcasm and thoughtfulness are precious.

I hope whomever replaces him has as much compassion as he does.

alcohol doesn't make you racist. it may loosen your inner filter, so you might say things you wouldn't normally say, but it doesn't make you change your attitude towards colored people. that was one of the worst excuse I have ever heard, and I'm an expert in excuses!
