You know, this video made me realize that Dazai and Q are pretty similar to each other—at least in terms of their abilities. They both have powers that “rob“ another person of control over their body, whether it’s their mind or their ability; their powers are also viewed in a negative light—especially by the owners themselves—despite the good they can do with them. It also both makes them feel inhumane, like they are some sort of creature instead of a human being. The only difference is that Dazai cannot control his ability whatsoever—it is always active, always on, always there—while Q has some semblance of control over his ability and can (sorta?) shut his off.
