Amazing how a 6 yr old realized her mom was taking too long to reply to Howie's apology and so she did it. That too in such a professional manner.

He's not rude. He's supposed to be judging performances. She's the kind of mom who asks the teacher to exempt her kids from taking tests.

This mom is the epitome of a stage mom and sheās raising little robots to do exactly what she wants. Her ability to hold a grudge and speak out 6 yrs later because her little angel got his feelings hurt. More like she got her feeling hurt. I feel very sorry for the children.

Best part was the end when the mom was debating forgiving Howie and the daughter did it herself. What a big heart. Not that he needed to apologize in the first place for commenting on the act the mom and other boy did years ago (itās his job to judge), but was still cute to see the daughter say that. She was pretty talented too. Very precise with her dancing skills.

Howie has a point! He is a judge and he is there to give feedback ! Nothing rude ! Mom was enjoying too much the apology and didn't want to give back her power by accepting his apology! Disgusting! The girl on the other hand, jumped in and accepted gracefully his apology . The mom should learn from her !

if Howie needs to apologize for that... then Simon needs to get down on his knees and really beg for forgiveness to just about every other contestant that's come on the show....

when the daughter is a better person than the mom. Howie did nothing wrong gave true criticism to a young contestant. That is what happens at an audition. Parents are there to console them and cheer them up...

That little girl showed so much grace in speaking up and accepting Howieās apology, very sweet. Mom could learn some humble pie from her daughter. Those two kids were great!

Howie made a call back in the day, and he was probably right at that moment: he should not have to apologize for making that decision. The Mum should not be in this business if she can't deal with some rejection. Sure, being a judge means that you'll have to deal with unhappy contestants, and Howie had to know that's part of what he signed up for. But having fellow judges pick on the guy with anxiety is NOT COOL.
