Lyrics:
I'd get it one piece at a time
And it wouldn't cost me a dime
You'd know it's me when I come through your town
I'm going to ride around in style
I'm going to drive everybody wild
Because I'll have the only one there is around

Shout out if you came here after The Fat Electrician mentioned this on Unsubscribe Podcast. I had to come listen to it again after the episode.

You have to admit, Johnny Cash had one helluva sense of humor.😂

Me and a buddy built him a pickup truck from different parts he bought from various junk yards. It ran perfectly and he kept it for several years. R.I.P my good friend.

My favorite thing about Cash is that it’s almost like he talked instead of sang. It was a real, raw story

This is my cousin. Just bragging rights never met him or money gained but I am proud to be part of his family line
  • Our dads generation was cooler than us and I'm okay with that. Miss em greatly, cheers

Not just the greatest Musician of all time the greatest Storyteller in the history of music. Johnny could tell an entertaining and full story better than a lot of writers can with a full novel in a single song 👏🖤

I've been listening to Johnny for almost 60 yrs - he never gets stale and in my mind, he will never grow old. I remember when he died, EVERYONE I knew mourned his passing. The next door neighbor, a rock and roll musician, played Johnny Cash all day long to honor him. My favorite song of his is - ALL OF THEM!!!!

20 years ago we lost the legendary man in black. He will never be forgotten! Love you John. ❤️

Johnny cash has a special place in my heart. I’m English and my grandad loved him. I was too young to really get into this sort of music. Unfortunately he died in 2016 three days after Christmas. Years later, I found some CD’s and an old player and listened to them all. Johnny cash, Kenny Rogers, Marty Robbins, Dolly Parton, John Denver. The lot. But especially fell in love with Johnny cash. Thanks Johnny. You may not know it, but you’ve helped me a lot.

I bought this album during the hot summer of 1976. It has, IMO, always been somewhat under-appreciated!

My mom used to work at a bus plant, and she would always joke about bringing parts home and building her own bus, one piece at a time!

Legend!!! "I got it one piece at a time and it didn't cost me dime!"🔥🔥🔥

And I'm still listening to it. RIP, Johnny. You are the greatest!
