Speaking to the very beginning of the video, a few days ago I saw a camp with maybe 350+ plans. I went to it. Could not for the life of me find the vendor after probably 5 minutes. Left. It annoyed me so much I said out loud, "Why even bother selling?"

I used to take player vending/trading really seriously but over the last year or so I’ve realized a passion for alcohol brewing in 76. So I make and sell most alcohol including things like champagne and tequila along with giving away free beer “by the barrel”. Now I’m much happier in game (albeit poorer) but happier.

I'll mass produce Berry Mentats and dump to a mule character and just retrieve them when I need to refresh the vendor or my character's supply. I have roughly 600 on my mule at the moment ready. Nuka Cola and Nuka Cola Quantum sells well. I farm workshops on a private server and set up elevated boxes with all the resource generators (collectron, wood pile, adhesive tree, nuka cola candy, popcorn etc. I'll spend a day farming workshops, collecting the resources and dump to a mule for sale later.) Workshop plans from capture/defend 'll sell for 3-9 caps. I run Master Infiltrator so I don't need bobby pins so I'll dump those to new players or sell for 1 cap apiece. Popcorn and Nuka Candy I put in for 0 caps as a loss leader - I find if people get something for 'free' from my vendors they tend to spend more.

I just sell my crap for dirt cheap, it helps beginner players and helps me get rid of my junk.

I appreciate all these updated tutorial type videos I’m getting back into this game after a long hiatus and they help a lot

And place at least 2 vendors in your camp!!!
  • @seanpelletier
I sell 3 star items, no matter what they are, for 150. Doing that Super Mutant event where you gotta clear a camp loads you up, i usually stay between 6k and 12k
  • Within the first day of putting up my store, someone rolled in and bought all of my bobbleheads, magazines, and ammo. I was balling before I even had a barter build

The only thing worse than not being able to find the vender is when you find someone with loads in their store and their prices are ridiculously high.. no wonder their stock looks so impressive cause noone is buying a potted plants plan for 2000 caps

I can't believe i am going to sub to another 76 channel.. i normally don't sub to game channels at all, but you do really put out helpful videos...and i have come to love this game since returning, i love the community and to me you are a great part of it.. gotta give you more than just a good ol thumbs up.

Everything I sell in my vendor is with the intent on helping new players. Everything I sell is priced so that even sub-level 20 players can afford it. I also give away all my extra junk. I put it red boxes that I know new players will be visiting most often. My main CAMP is even located near where new players will walk by most often. That being said, recipes seem to be my biggest sellers. They go like hot cakes. It’s also possible that some more senior players are taking advantage of my kindness and reselling thing for much higher prices but i can only do my part and make things available for the new players as best I can.

I sell any and all plans for 10 caps and any and all ammo for 1 cap. They usually sell pretty quick on Xbox.
  • @industrynew
being new to fallout 76 this was extremely helpful. looking forward to your other videos!
  • I sell mostly plans and apparel. I sell super common plans for 50 caps. I raise the price depending on how rare a plan is. I sell apparel for 150 caps. I love when Bethesda adds a new apparel plan to the game and they do not lock it. I hate when they make an outfit, headwear or helmet untradable.

I have shop where i exchange scrip for caps by selling legendaries based on their exchange value (listed next to the vendor). Charging 15 caps for 1 scrip, item prices ranging from 45 for one star armor piece that goes for 3 scrip to 675 for 3 star p. armor that goes for 45 scrip. Usually levels 500+ buys whole stock at once so pays really nice.

OMG I think I've been in your base before, but this was before I knew about your channel. Thank you for all the awesome vids.
  • I sell mainly ammo, chems and some non spoiling food. I noticed .45 ammo sells are HOT, nuclear even, as soon as I put .45 it almost instantly sells out to the point I cant farm or make it fast enough to keep it reliably stocked, next fast sellers are .50/.308/.38/10mm(in that order)
  • @raventamer99
I sell my excess plasma ammo for 1 cap per round and move upwards to 500-1000 rounds pretty steadily about every day or two. I had a pen I was selling for 4200 caps and someone actually bought it. lmao I bought a fortified vault suit and railway rifle plans w/ that cheddar from another vendor. XD Thanks, anon. I made wolfy proud with that one.

Thank you .. still learning this game at lvl 128. :)

I've noticed people will come check out your shop when you enter a world and if you're in a team they can fast travel to your camp for free so you can swap worlds/teams to introduce some new shop traffic Edit: Noticed some other comments say this, adding more than one shop is very helpful because it prevents lines/blocks because of another player
