    This is really a you vs your ideal self. The current Touma who even forgot his past still continue to be a hero like he once were. Vs the ideal self that Touma crave for, the one who has everything he lost but, wants to replace him to be the real one. It's like that one story about a man and his shadow, who stole everything from him and he becomes his Shadow's shadow.

    This is my favourite volume in all of NT as I feel it was a combination of everything that has built up in the series with Touma and his relationships with Misaki, Misaka and Index! The volume had so many great, epic and shocking moments! From Touma turning into a freaking Dragon! Kamijou No Touma as character, the twist off there being 2 Touma's (my jaw dropped on the floor when the Dragon turned out to be the real Touma) and of course the epic call back to OT1 with Touma fighting Pendex again with the feathers. This volume was the perfect send-off to NT and the road to GT!

    I absolutely loved this volume. It manages to make touma move on from certain things like a past mistake (specifically the part with a feather dropping onto his head) was so beautifully well done. Able to overcome a past mistake as if remembering....

    Let's not forget that KnT was defeated not just because of that kitchen knife, but because of Touma's arm containing crystal shards that were originally part of a chandelier that was broken amidst the whole commotion. KnT swallowed those shards together with Touma's torn off blue-and-yellow arm. "So, how do they taste? How do those crystal shards taste?" This is kind of brutal, not gonna lie.

    It would be interesting if it’s revealed far later down the line if Dragon Shell was Touma’s actual Esper Ability. Not very scientific but it would be very much like Sogita’s in that regard.

    Always wanted to see what an evil version off touma would be like and when i read NT22R, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! i really enjoyed how KnT toyed with Misaki's emotions and was able to manipulate her. It's my 5th fav volume in New Testament and im hoping KnT will play a special role later on.

    KNF was such a cool idea and interesting character. He presents and believes he's the real Touma, due to not only being inside of Touma but have all the memories that our OG Touma has lost. After the events with GT9, I was happy KNT came back. Now I wonder what's KNT's role in the future in GT and if he's going to be the final villain of Toaru or join Aiwass and Anna.

    I still find it hilarious that Hamazura outright says "yeah I met you first so I believe you" and the rest of the people in the table are just rolling their eyes at the response while Touma genuinely appreciates it

    4:40 I understand why she did it That is the Touma she wants to meet again heck even index wanted to see that Touma that saved her too emotional damage indeed there both Touma but we have to pick one of them(it like those fake harem were we have to choose one of the girls out of the many girls that liked the MC)

    Another solid review in going down the rabbit hole f this very complex and in depth story. Thanks again in filling in the blanks on the story and I always happy to see those videos come out. I would be lost without them.
