Sky News take the green parliamentary bench to wild swimmers in Livingston and up Arthur's Seat, overlooking Edinburgh, asking voters about the issues that matter to them.

We find many people who still want Scottish independence and who won't vote for the SNP this time.

Polls are showing that Labour could once again become the dominant party in Scotland.

  • Asking 'scottish' voters in England's 3rd City of Edinburgh not an accurate representation of Scottishness. Most of the sensible folk realise that Labour and Tories only think a Scottish vote counts when it's for them. The rest of the time neither party could care less. SNP are only real Scottish party. We'll be saying goodbye to free prescriptions, travel, university places, toll crossings if a Westmonster party takes a majority in Scotland
  • Sorry, take your bench to Coatbridge and hear and see the real Scotland!! Not at silly location away from real public!! Get real sky news!!!
  • Of all the issues to be looking at. I'm Scottish myself and find this ridiculously bad timing. Honestly, not all Scottish people are this self centred.
  • I mean.. they got dragged out of the EU against the will of the scottish people .. they need to go their own way.. .
  • @mrakronyahoo
After 14 years of tory chaos, who can blame scotland for wanting independence?
  • @me-un7vq
The sooner Scotland can berid of the union the better.
  • As an English man it would sadden me to see Scotland leave the United Kingdom. I believe we are stronger together. Then again, I thought that about our membership of the EU and look how that turned out.
  • The director of the Jupiter artworld is English - what a surprise - not Scottish so no wonder she's against independence.
  • @basic_unit
What a stupid stunt. Don't worry about independence anyone our MP's can barely open letters. Our first concern must be education, then jobs for our young folk then social care - and the long term answer to none of those issues is more immigration. But remember, our MP's are useless and will opt for more immigration on the off chance that someone with the skills we need turns up.
  • Anybody voting Labour OR Tory has serious mental issues........'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. ' VOTE REFORM
  • @akooma3694
I'll never vote labour. I'll always vote for whatever party is chasing independence then something akin to the libertarian party after that. Independence is all that matters.
  • Scotland is turning to reform. I had many say to me that if the reform party was Scottish, I would vote for them to start a Scottish reform party
  • I would rather turn to a bottle of red wine or white or rose any wine actually cheers
