When the battle ended the phrase from Sukuna at the beginning of the series rang through my head "None of you understand what REAL Jujutsu is."
  • @gleetR
i’m terrified after Gojo’s death, him winning was probably the last chance the cast had at a decently happy ending. Even if they do come out on top, it’s gonna be fuuuuucked up 😭
  • @JG-fz1zg
This kinda makes me feel a bit better about Satoru Gojo's death honestly. The genuine closure he feels is enough for me. He had fun and gave it his all.

MAKE THIS A MOVIE. I DONT WANT TO WAIT A WEEKLY EPISODE, I JUST WANT PURE BRAWL since the manga doesnt even want us to breathe and explain on what happened. Lets go all out, the last page of Chapter is a great cliffhanger for the Movie as well and it just ends, imagine the fans watching in Awe on wtf happened. This is pure Movie quality content, the fan service of fighting nonstop etc
  • I love that Sukuna says to gojo that he will never forget him as long as he is alive, it's a perfect way to show respect to someone as strong as gojo. Also gojo talking about Sukuna not giving his all and that he might have lost regardless of the 10 Shadows or not which also shows respect..the fans are in each others throats while the characters talked sht during the entire fight but in the end they had respect for each other Goat gojo and goat Sukuna!!

I see it simple. Sukuna is a genius, so is Gojo. Gojo was unsure that he could beat a Heian Era Sukuna only on the fact of how smart and resourceful his enemy was. Without Mahoraga,Sukunas entire arsenal of CTs would never bypass Infinity. That’s what me as the reader has understood so far. Sukuna is just a crafty devil. If Gojo doesn’t come back…well that truly spells defeat for the main cast, it’s legit not even close.

To those still frustrated or annoyed by what gojo said in the afterlife, think of it like this. Sukuna went into this fight with one goal in mind. To bypass infinity. First, sukuna did hold back. Not out of preference, or overconfidence, but out of resolve. Sukuna is a literal genius when it comes to cursed energy. His strategical capabilities and knowledge over jujustu sorcery is second to none. So having him gamble it all on a reliable, effective, and sure way of beating gojo without risking losing is a literal no brainer. Of course he was gonna take full advantage of megumi’s technique. Not only did that allow him to win, but he got even stronger as a result. “oh, but gojo said that even without the ten shadows he still would’ve won. quit cOpiNg.” Gojo said that even without the tens, he was ‘unsure’ he’d win. Un. Sure. This is gege’s way of saying “yes, sukuna won with the help of a stolen technique but that doesn’t mean he’s weaker without it!” I mean, the fact that even sukuna said the extension he added to his technique would’ve been near impossible to pull off without mahoraga as a ‘role model’ should speak volumes. Neither of these characters are weaker than the other, but it’s painfully obvious who had the advantage from the start. We should all be giving gojo the same amount of praise sukuna did for how close he was to snatching the win with every odd, narrative included, stacked against him. He was born the strongest, and he died the strongest. He was simply outplayed. Outsmarted by the vile king of curses. That’s all there is to it.

This shh animated is going to break the fandom.
  • Literally spent the last 2 days binging 60+ chapters of JJK to finally catch up after hearing the outcome of this match, so excited to finally be caught up to the manga and see where the story goes from here, I personally loved this fight reading it week to week and can’t wait to see it animated years down the road
  • Sukuna has been around for a 1000 years and the Heian Era made him stronger..that is war makes you stronger(consider Madara). Anyhow, Gojo threatened Sukuna to the point that he had to plan his victory..like Kenjaku. A 28 year old was able to make 2 1000 year Olds scared. That says a lot.
  • 54:50 i think sukunas nervousness here was 100% genuine. Sure he was "holding back" but he needed to focus on megumis technique to learn how to bypass infinity. So i think sukuna was genuinely nervous and shook up until he finally learned the bypass manuever
  • 1:02:30 Gojo actually says "I didnt get to tell him about his father..." referring to Megumi and Toji not his own father.
  • At this point, wondering if Sukuna had Mahoraga’s wheel enabled from the start.. and whether Gojo anticipated this as well.. like his way of making sure he doesn’t accidentally kill Megumi in the end. I highly doubt he’s getting up at this point
  • Hopefully Gege doesn’t Fatigue himself after this. I really want this Manga to have the Ending it Deserves. Edit: Thanks guys, this is the most likes I’ve ever got 🤩.
  • The fact that they had to jump gojo to beat him is actually crazy
  • Don't underestimate Yuji realising that black flash knocked Sukuna out and damaged Mahoraga. We're about to witness the sparks of black rain on the battlefield of Jujutsu
  • 236 SPOILERS There is something strange about Gojo’s death. I know there’s all this talk about how much the mangaka hates Gojo but Gege doesn’t really off screen people. Nanami, Yaga, Toji, Geto, Rika, Yuki, Riko Amanai, Mai Zenin, Jogo, the Zenin Clan, the Zenin cousin guy who became a bug, Mahito, Hanami - all died on screen/panel. The only one we HAVENT seen dead is Nobara, who I suspect plays a role in the manga’s end game. I’ve been thinking about resonance for a long time now, since we first saw it in action and were then reminded how many fingers still were loose at the time. Then add the fact that Gojo had a finger hidden somewhere, AND the other 19 fingers are consolidated, I would wager money Nobara has the last finger. Or maybe Shoko. We’ve seen Gojo fool people with death before (Yuji in the first arc). Gojo dying off screen is bizarre. Gojo may very well be dead frfr but there’s something fishy about the off panel death.
  • @yohumanfrisk
For me, the panel right after Sukuna says he'll never forget Gojo is quite nice. Some people think that Gojo died off screen, but you can see him smirk one last time after Sukuna thanked him. Gojo dies satisfied. Very well done fight. Truly, one of the most invigorating battles in all of manga, ever.
  • @PURPLE_G0J0
Before the Sukuna vs Gojo fight even began: •Sukuna built up his power back to full •Then amped his already full power even more by eating various cursed items •Then obtained a stronger body that is more fit to fight sorcerers •Then added 10 Shadows to his arsenal •Brought a cursed item just in case Sukuna needed all of that prep time and multiple amps just to stand a fighting chance against base Gojo. Sukuna was not holding back at all, that’s bs. During Sukuna vs Gojo: •Gojo brought Sukuna to near death at least 7 times in 11 chapters •Sukuna used the 10 shadows to adapt to void just to have a fighting chance at countering •Domain Expansion is the pinnacle of sorcery, it has been established in the world lore. Sukuna used Domain Expansion at least 5 times, his strongest technique against Gojo. The narrator and Sukuna fans claim that Sukuna isn’t even trying yet Sukuna almost died multiple times, needed to adapt/create a new technique just to counter Gojo, and used his strongest technique multiple times against Gojo. Sukuna literally tried his hardest just to survive. And what does Geje do? Off-Screens Gojo because he’s a Sukuna meat rider.
  • I found this explanation for Sukuna's technique on Reddit: A lot of people don't seem to get how Sukuna was able to get past Gojo's Infinity in the latest chapter, I was initially one of them, but more recent translations have enabled me to gain a better understanding. So I'll explain it in simpler terms for you all: In essence, Sukuna created an Extension Technique that allowed him to bypass Gojo's inviolability. Extension Techniques are abilities developed through training to maximize the applications of Innate Techniques (i.e. Resonance, Supernova, etc.). Sukuna was able to do this by imitating Mahoraga, since as we learned in this chapter, Mahoraga's adaptations can be both defensive and offensive in nature. Sukuna couldn't change the sum and substance of his cursed energy to nullify the Infinity like Mahoraga (which is why he used Domain Amplification to do so) but found he could mimic Mahoraga when it altered its method of attack. Mahoraga broadened its target from just Gojo to the world itself, enhancing its efficacity so that everything within reach of the Sword of Extermination's swing would be severed without exception. This served as the basis for the killing blow Sukuna dealt against Gojo in this chapter, what makes this so impressive is that Sukuna was able to do this on the fly, with no practice, only after having witnessed it just once before. We've actually seen something similar earlier on in the series when Nanami fought Mahito, and utilized the Collapse technique, which targets the surrounding environment rather than a singular person or object. Sukuna basically did the same thing, of course, he did this on a more "conceptual" level than merely a "physical" one. Tl;dr Sukuna imbued his Innate Technique with a Sure-Hit factor like in a Domain. I hope I was able to clear things up for some of you.
