  • You could play this on dust bins with elephant tusks and it would still move me. This along with a few other pieces by Bach affect me profoundly. This was lovely, thank you both.
  • BWV 29 also refutes those who hear Bach only as heavy and serious and profound. Bach's joy is as polyphonic as any of his work, but so joyful. He was a whole man, who wrote music for every mood.

Beautiful instruments and music! 🎵 JS Bach is among my favourite composers... 🎼

OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that was INCREDIBLE! What an awesome rendition on one of Bach's better known works .. just WOW!

Bach is timeless. Bach always sounds good no matter what instruments are used. Provided the musicians are as perfect as these.
  • When I went to see a friend of mine for his birthday, a composer and profeesional musician, he played for me some guitar pieces, mostly fom Bach. Before he started with the Sinfonia BWV 29, he exclaimed: - There's not a single damn break until the end! When he had finished, he seemed quite astonished: - Oh my God, what did I play - but actually it doesn't sound bad, I feel quite fit! Luteduo too does an astonishing and wonderful job, thank you!

There are times in my life when I cannot quite take that we humans are really made to experience such a joy. This is one of them. I think we cannot be grateful enough that Bach had been, had all those ideas and had written down some of them and there are musicians like you who can revive these for us as for me who I cannot do it on myself. Thank you Anna and Anton very much! Thank you on behalf of my little children whom I can give such a happiness!!

Bach wrote a lot of music, but the suites for lute are among his finest works, this incredible materpiece is in the top picks, played at steady tempo reveals its mathematical beauty, I find it a lot of fun to watch the fingers too, it's really beautiful to watch.

The transporting genius of Bach! The exquisite performances - all of them - by Lute Duo. Exponential brilliance. Causes for optimism in the future of gentle civilization.
  • Absolutely astonishing arrangement and performance. Totally electrifying! What a gift worth more than gold.
  • @gdemarneffe1
extraordinaire, je n'ai pas de mot. Déjà tant de versions existent, il il fallait encore en faire une qui soit encore différente, et à vrai dire probablement la plus belle que j'aie entendue jusqu'ici

  • @stewcherlin
As the composer Moshe Kotel said, "One needs a daily dose of vitamin B", he told me to get that dose he played Bach daily.
  • @nzfabian
Bach was so prolific that it’s hard to pinpoint a “best Ever” composition. But if I had to choose one, this sinfonia bww29 would be my pick. It’s out of this world. Pure brilliance and beauty. Thanks to LUTEDUO for bringing this piece to life with such a wonderful performance.
