The world of Breath of the Wild is filled with unknowns - there's so much hidden information about it's mechanics that have mostly went untouched to the players. Although I have spent the last few months trying to break these major elements of this game apart to share with you all (as a part of my Stats of the Wild series), I decided that this video would be composed solely out of the miscellaneous questions you guys have asked me directly to solve!! All of the topics in this video are much more bite sized than what I usually go over, so I hope you find the wide variety of info helpful!! :D

Thanks for watching!! In reality, every material WITHIN the zones has a 1% chance of being restored each minute - as the zones only exist to prevent respawns if you are currently in them. Sorry for the confusion!
  • When climbing in the rain, I tend to jump up after every 2 seconds or so. It seems Link will always slip after a climbing jump, but the distance covered makes up for it.
  • Fun fact: soft shell turtles are pretty good at running, some species could probably run faster than you.

Nah, the game just figures out whenever you really don't want to find a yiga member, especially when fighting a lynel or guardian, then spawns them ASAP
  • @firestarter6488
BOTW 2 really needs some sort of "Climbing Claw" item/weapon to help with climbing during rain.
  • @smashbrolink
"Yiga spawns will be blocked during these times." Me: "PFFT! YIGA HAVE WORK HOURS!😂😂😂😂"
  • @TimTime10
Croton: Dead zones My concience: Reaching ecological deadzone.
  • When climbing in the rain: I normally wait for link to make 5 Steps upwards, because he normally slips right after that. And before he can slip, I jump. That normally allows me to cover enough ground to make it to the top

Hey there! From playing the game, I realized the within each of the gear you have, say 6 savage Lynel crushers with attack 106, it will organize it from durability. So if you have them all untouched , and you hit an enemy with one, that one will be sorted to the end of the crushers.
  • I've taken a moment to look at the climbing, and from what I see, Link slips after 5 "passes". Each pass is how you'd usually count it. I.e: left arm + right leg up: 1 pass. Right arm + left leg up: +1 pass If you watch the slipping part again, you can accurately count 5 passes before he slips. I've been using this for a while to help, so I hope it helps you!

15:20 I ALWAYS equip the full Zora outfit, because it looks cute, and I want to swim faster when I go back into the water.
  • @theencolony5595
The yiga clan attacks were a huge pain, thank you so much!!
  • @gameboy9480
Ok so here’s another question, when not wearing armor, Link swims slightly faster, but just a single piece of zora armor is better than that, but what if you have a level 3 speed buff while not wearing any armor, is that the fastest way to travel in water then?

One thing that I don't think I've seen anyone address; what causes sunshowers, aka those brief bursts of rain when both the sky and the weather indicator show that it's supposed to be clear? Are they completely random? Do they happen at certain times? Does previous weather (ie humidity from a rainstorm last night) have anything to do with it? And what determines the duration? It's the one part of this game that still vexes me. When the Sheikah Slate says it's not supposed to be raining, gosh darn it, it's not supposed to be raining!

I discovered the arrow thing pretty fast when I was trying to farm for them to buy Ancient Arrows. With that in, I ran out of arrows on purpose hunting for monster parts and bought EVERY arrow I could find in every town (Kakariko, Hateno, Zora's Domain, Goron City, Rito Village, the Oasis Bazar, Gerudo Town and Tarry Town after getting the Rito to move in) and every Ranch to buy from Beedle and every merchant that I found and you get exactly, if my memory serves me right, 651 regular arrows. Plus, you can go on to catch arrows from enemies, as well as opening barrels, wooden crates and metal crates, not to mention all the treasure chests around Hyrule. On the other arrows I haven't made the count though. So, it's pretty easy to get arrows during the mid/late game, depending on how you're tackling it and how many rupees you have.
  • @orionsglow5720
During the rain, I noticed that I can make a decent distance slipping by counting how many steps up Link takes, then jump up as Link takes the 5th step. This might just be me getting lucky, but it seems to work everytime.
  • @petery6432
Thanks for explaining how Yiga spawn. I always thought the Yiga spawn was based on certain areas of the world since when I constantly delayed the blood moon I stopped encountering them.
  • @pigeongod3450
11:35 there are some places I’ve found to consistently spawn yiga people including the Faron Bridge where a yiga with a bow consistently appears for me
