My kids made the pizza cups on their own, (they were so proud of themselves) and absolutely loved them.
  • Here in Australia, we have fundraisers where some outdoor companies (like Bunnings) allow charitable groups to run cook sausages. They are served on bread or rolls with BBQ onions. a group of us would get together at the clubhouse (Boy Scouts) to get them prepared and bagged and dropped into a designated freezer. Our tip for this is to dump a bag of onions in the sink or basin with water (for comfort on cold days we used warm water). We usually go through and cut the tops off to start with and when it comes to skinning them they slide off, with no sticking and are so much easier it also reduces onion/eye problems measurably. I always do the same thing when cooking for the family and get ahead with the onions. What isn't used go into the freezer for another day. Makes life so much easier.
  • I need to say,and I’m certain that I haven’t said it before,so it is long overdue. When you smile,it’s like seeing the Sun come out from behind the clouds. There. I said it😌

Next time you are at Costco check out the parchement paper. You get two huge rolls for an incredible price and will take you forever to run out. I am so going to be trying these recipes out. Yumm. Hugs

For chicken nuggets, I like to use my food processor and chop/blend chicken breasts and thighs with salt, chill the mixture to help it firm, and then form into nugget shapes and roll each through seasoned flour, egg, and bread crumbs (bought unseasoned but seasoned by me with salt, pepper, and onion & garlic powder). We love them!!

What I really like, even though I don't have kids, is that the kids will never turn their nose up at them. Very kid, friendly.

I always did my breaded chicken in a plastic bag. I would make sure the chicken was drained of liquid add the eggs to the bowl and then add them to the plastic bag with the breading and shake, shake, shake. Always came out fine took a fraction of the time.
  • We are empty nesters, but enjoy your video's .... a calming approach to cooking and storing foods is appreciated. Thank you for your content.
