AR is already one of my favorite players as Texans fan. Him and CJ twice a year will feed families

Great breakdown. He has the talent and physicality, but needs to develop more nuance, touch, and know when to avoid big hits.
  • AR will be good as long as he isn't hurt. From a Colts fan for the past 20 years. He'll learn Touch because he has the arm talent and with comfortability comes confident throws. He has good pocket presence and anticipation which are hallmarks of great QBs. As long as we don't screw up his development we'll have our franchise QB
  • There’s no doubt in my mind that he will be a stud. Steichen’s offense made a polarizing prospect (Herbert) into a stud rookie. And turned a prospect that was meant to be an upside backup (Hurts) into an MVP candidate. Steichen knows what he’s doing.

    Love the analysis! Subscribed :)

He’s really good for having one year of college experience. He doesn’t look lost . Just worried because he was knocked out of the prior two games before the final injury that ended his season .

I'm a fiend for QBs with pocket presence similar to Richardson's. I'm pulling for him because if he works out we basically get the Cam Newton experience all over again

The play where he injured his shoulder, he didn't got head first into anyone. He literally just got tackled awkwardly from the side.

He can be. He has one the best Recieving cores in the league now.

Always love your videos. Here's hoping AR will be able to pick up needed game experience and is getting the coaching needed to harness his amazing physical talents.
  • Michael Pittman Jr is an amazing WR that's being overlooked. AR has a great WR core, but he has to protect his body. Even a mild concussion can take you out of a key game

Brilliant, as usual. But you got me worried about AR: faster RPO reading, and consistent accuracy... can those skills be developed at that level? Shouldn't they be already firmly embedded in his arsenal?

Yes if he dramatically learns to cut out the bad habits, and make better and faster decisions reading NFL defenses going to the check down guy instead of waiting too much for the big play. The passing schemes need to always create the best plays for him to not look bad. Too much backstepping will lead to errors and turnovers, but it may also prevent him from having a season ending injury throwing the ball. Only an Iron Wall with the perfect pass protection would make his life easier to stop the bad habit of too much back stepping to avoid the sack while looking down field.............But bad habits are hard to stop for most people....so we may be forced to take the bad with the good for a few more years.
