Some of these upcoming demos didnt age incredibly well considering the team results but an actual positive to come out of this run from G2 is a couple of strong ancient wins. Their veto is still a little weird, especially if they cant win maps like inferno vs almost anyone but genuinely I for some reason felt like there were upsides for G2. Niko was a bit inconsistent this event but here was a high high.

Personally I think G2 need this summer break to fix up, 2x grand finalist just to lose really takes a toll on your emotions especially online (all that hard work for nothing basically) they just need to build their chemistry and work as a team not rely on their individual skills. Until then better luck G2 maybe one day you win your trophy!

I don't know how to feel — G2 clearly need some growing up as a team. There's also something wrong with their chemistry. Saying Aleksi doesn't fit the team makes me feel sad as Finn, but he and Ilya clearly dont have same energy as the Bosnians.

Im surprised you mentioned you like that Niko searches less now. I feel like in the older inferno demos you mentioned how you really liked that style of play because it was something he could do that others could not due to his mechanics. It would be cool to do a comparison between an older banana demo from Niko and a more recent one.

my variation of the "tarik step back" includes spraying while stepping back, still controlling the spray so that when you get accurate again cause of the counter step, you instantly hit. Or you can get lucky and hit while running. Although I didnt get that from tarik, didnt even know he does that.
