Hey Grampa Mack, just wanted to say thanks! My mother in law is a hoarder and since my husband grew up in that environment, he’s a hoarder. He doesn’t want to hoard but he struggles. I’ve learned, through many arguments, to give him certain spaces as HIS. The house is clean and orderly, the garage…..not so much. Here’s where you have helped me. About 3 weeks ago, hubby said “I think I’ll thin out my clothes and donate some to Goodwill”. In the past, I would have jumped on that and nagged the hell out of him. Argument would ensue. This time, I said “sure, whatever you want to do”. I didn’t mention it until this morning. I asked him if he still wanted to donate some clothes. He said yeah and went through his clothes on his own, by himself. I now have 2 garbage bags full of clothes to donate! This may seems like a small amount but trust me it’s HUGE! So thank you Mack. I’ve learned to not push, it just causes anxiety in him. ❤❤❤

I just found your channel today and as a 29 year old autistic guy your videos have given me some hope on a particularly rough day. We share some interests and definitely share all the same intensity and passion. In so many of your videos I noticed immediately how eager you are to help others and it was so comforting to me. I've been called weird all my life for helping people for no reason, especially strangers. My mom worries about things happening to me because I'm so open to helping and I struggle to know if/when I'm being taken advantage of. It's one thing to know in theory that I'm not the only person like this but it is something else entirely to see a specific, real person like you. I don't get exposed to many people that remind me of myself who are older than me and doing ok. It scares me a lot to not have many positive examples of where I could find myself in the future once the support I currently rely on is gone. So thank you for your honesty and openness when it comes to who you are. I will absolutely be watching every video from now on. ❤

The whole "getting far too into a hobby" is so relatable. I got into crochet last year, and instead of starting with scarves, or baby blankets, or granny squares like most beginners, I decided to make a gigantic 6x7ft blanket, using two very thick yarns at the same time. I loved working on it, and my older sibling was thrilled with their birthday present. It was HEAVY though, let me tell ya! My only limiter to the whole "getting too into a hobby" is that I am also ADD and will very quickly get bored with a hobby if it doesn't have enough going on.

CONGRATULATIONS TO JASON AND THE MOM-TO-BE! My son presented me with my first grandchild 6th May 2023 so he's about to turn 1 in a couple months! Being a grandparent is absolutely the most amazing part of life, Mack, I promise. You get to spoil them, have fun with them, and not have to discipline them and then send them back to mom and dad! Congratulations to your entire family, I wish a healthy baby for you all! My son will be 26 in October, the 23rd...so that's another day the baby could be born....lol

I use to have a lot of records but I've moved quite a few times and was tired of lugging them around. A decision I now regret. I have Journeys greatest hits CD. Most underrated band…. Hands down for me is ‘Clutch’ got a demo tape at a Lunachicks show and went and saw Marilyn Manson at a small venue before he was super big only because Clutch was opening up for him. Dude your art is amazing!!!!

I swear my house has gotten soo much cleaner and more organized since finding your vids. Putting them on in the background's been the best motivation to actually get it all done 😌

At 45 years old, I still love listening to my vinyls of The Monkees. The more I read & listen to their life stories, the more true talent is revealed. I feel they are underrated because most people think they are just a made-for-tv boy band. But they weren't. I'm sad when I realize only Mickey Dolenz is still alive. ❤

I love how cozy your house is coming along over the past year, it's cool to see how different you and your wife are in interests and ways that you align with each other (in the tiny moments that are featured). I wish Emily great health and that she is past the worst of her health issues. Not only that, but I wish Jason and his partner well in life and getting their house ready for your future wonderful grandkid.
