Starmer pledged to keep communities safe following a Cobra meeting as police prepare for further violence.

The police will be able to easily arrest the low hanging fruit at first, but as time progresses, the security savvy ones will adapt and tactics will change. These are the ones who will provide a long term threat. As long as there is two tier policing and open borders, the violence is not only likely to continue, it is likely to morph into something more sinister. There is no policing solution to this, the government must change course.
