Final Fantasy Tactics E5: Here for Politics [Dorter Slums + Zeklaus Desert]

Published 2024-05-13
Welcome to the rat cellar. A beating has loosened our tongues, allowing us the chance of identifying the wrong song, speaking false to a knight, getting a guy muddy, discovering an actual Dune reference, endlessly reviving Ramza, employing an ineffective mage, configuring the proper Post Up, beating up prisoners, bearing a ribald tongue, filling different radicalization meters, wishing to end the aristocracy, pulling off one last job, arguing over the necessities of a rebel army, speaking our fill, and trading one life for another. You may yet keep your bacon.

The Slums of Dorter battle was the first wake up call that this game can get really hard if I don't do the random battles.

The game is not hard but it does have several battles that are made to absolutely check you. I was looking forward to Dorter and have to say I'm very proud of Eric for continuing to do the tactics, S+ content gents.

It's interesting returning to Retro AM after having to skip a couple seasons. You guys sound a bit more battle hardened and sharp than in the early seasons, at least as far I can tell. It's like in the early seasons you brought that Yuffie energy, but now it's closer to Cid Highwand. Not a negative but an observation. What did Suikoden do to you boys? Hahahaha. Great episode as always. Cheers!
  • uh, so what is this? a podcast where you explain what you're doing in the game instead of just showing the game itself?

Politics! According to extremist gamers, politics means anything in a game they disagree with.
