Here's How to Motivate Yourself

Honestly, I don't know how anyone could formulate essential concepts of our civilization with such grace that anyone can understand. It's not even praise at this point, it's mere shock.

What's great with (almost) every single videos posted on Jordan B Peterson Clips is that it often relates so much to what I'm going through every single day! I, and I hope many others, can always take at least one lesson from whatever Jordan Peterson is talking about!

As my 54th birthday closes in on me, I’ve decided I really want to attend your lectures! Thank you for sharing your gift with so many! Your insight has been instrumental in my forward movement.

This idea is brilliant. A person Picking one thing to pursue in life and understanding their “Why” for that goal is one of the most meaningful things to do in life. That’s because what is most valuable to that person is incredibly important to pursue. It makes a persons life way more meaningful than pursuing the multiplicity of different goals/values at the same time because YOU ONLY HAVE TO FOCUS ON ONE THING. Instead of worrying yourself to death and feeling like you’re missing out on everything else in life. We do become more productive, feel more meaning in life, and become more creative while “constrained” to one goal because we have to be disciplined and creative within those parameters. Like the saying “you can only break the rules once you’ve mastered them”. Then you become unstoppable because of the momentum you have created and more comes your way in life.

Oh this is excellent. It explains why so many are dead inside now days.

As much as I love to learn & absorb the many deep & wonderful insights of Dr. J.P., I must comment instead, on the beauty of this venue! I am just amazed that I can follow what he is saying or so I think.

I've never liked the idea of motivation because there are a myriad of reasons that you can generate to attempt to excuse yourself from taking action on something, whereas discipline forces you to get these things done despite not feeling like you want to because it's built on habit rather than emotion.

Dear Dr, my dream would be to have a chance to attend one class like that!! I read stoic books imagining myself on that scenario!! You are the best ever!
