I swear every 1st gen Filipino has a calamansi tree at their grandparents house in SD. Literally have bottles in the freezer rn that we squeezed last time we were there. 🥰

Judy, those are human smuggling boats. They abandon them just like that. National City is the arm pit of San Diego. I'm almost 70 and was born and raised in North San Diego County. My Dad was also in the Navy. We used to go to National City to visit one of his friends back in the 50's. It was an awful town then. Not much about it has change except that it's much bigger now.

We went on a family date night last night and found a Filipino food truck so of course had to order lumpia and pancit! My 3 year old daughter said “this is like the Leah show!” 🤣🥰 I tried to tag you in the picture on my Instagram stories but I’m sure you won’t see it but it was the sweetest. We love you guys!

JUDY! Sd local here:) next time you're In San Diego, check out Flour Atelier. It's a Japanese/ Filipino inspired Bakery In Kearny Mesa Area. It's fairly new and so cute!! The calamansi tree reminded me of the calamansi cupcake I had there. Definitely recommend :)
