Batman, or rather Bruce Wayne, is the richest man in Gotham. We all know that. Well, today I am here to prove that FACT is a LIE! Yep, good ole Brucey has been beat by none other than his biggest rival. Somehow our favorite ever smiling big bad Joker has come out on top of the money game. How? Well Theorists,to answer that question we'll need to revisit one of my favorite Batman movies ever - The Dark Knight!

The thing most people fail to realize about the Joker in The Dark Knight is that he is doing the same thing as Batman: destroying the organized crime and corrupt officials of Gotham. And, he is better at it. Absolutely wrecks them, because he's waging total war with no rules.

My favorite theory is that he was an Iraq or Afghan war veteran- whose expertise was in strategic planning and interrogation- but he lost his mind and when he got back home unleashed his madness on Gotham.
