The in home thing will NEVER catch on, nobody will want a stranger coming into their house and unloading groceries or stocking their fridge, its just too weird.
-
I'm finding myself grocery shopping at Aldi more often now. They don't have everything, but what they do stock is usually priced better than the competition.
-
I would argue that most of their profits come from paying their employees below a living wage and subsidizing that wage by putting them on food stamps and such subsidies the American public pays for.
-
I am convinced that both of these companies have their place in the market, but I must admit...even though the American market is larger, Amazon has done an incredible job both in delivery service and quality. Room for both.... Amazon way ahead of the game in e-commerce.
-
Amazons biggest sector is AWS (Amazon web services) and this video doesn't even mention it.

With physical store , amazon will fail . I have canceled my Amazon prime after one month trial of Walmart plus as Walmart delivers groceries from their store in front of my door . Once I realize how much hassle I can avoid by paying only $10 dollars a month, I am not coming back to brick and mortal store any time soon

Walmart is way too powerful for Amazon to defeat. I could buy staff with a cheaper price instantly from Walmart which I even couldn’t find on Amazon.
-
I've regretted using Walmart every time. I have a dispute with them right now on a couple of hydraulic filters. I've already gotten replacements from Amazon and Walmart is still telling me I have to wait because "sometimes the post office makes mistakes and it might still show up" definitely not Amazon caliber. I've bought my last item from Walmart.

Getting out of your house and away from that smart phone is healthy!!
-
I ordered some pet supplies from the Walmart app, but it was delivered by an Amazon truck and driver...

Competition is healthy whereas monopoly is dangerous! Good grocery stores are valuable to every community!! Community gardens are better than social media. Start one!

I went to a Walmart recently that got rid of all cashiers, only has self-checkout and they added a huge tv in every aisle with a camera pointed at you and the self-checkout line was 10x longer than any normal line because people are slow to scan and bag there stuff, I will never be shopping at Wal-Mart again and I'm a millennial, not good Wal-Mart.
-
People said TV would flop, because no one would have time to sit down and watch a box. Wouldn’t be surprised if this actually turns successful
-
this could explain why walmart has been engaging in some of the devious tactics to artificially inflate prices they have been. In addition to increasing prices on items throughout their stores with some prices as much as doubling walmart has also been surreptitiously trying to coerce higher sales per transaction averages out of their customers by reducing availability of and/or removing all together, lower priced and more budget friendly items from store shelves

Wal-mart fresh food quality in my area has fallen off for a long time now pushing me to shop the local H‑E‑B grocery stores. While a bit higher in price the quality is always consistent and they seem to have a great relationship with the local farmers and other businesses around the city.

To be fair, WalMart is one of the few competitors that can outdo Amazon
-
In India Walmart(Flipkart) and Amazon are the only 2 major e-commerce players. And Amazon is buying many already existing supermarkets chains like More & others they will rebrand them as fresh in future
-
The biggest difference between the two is Amazon is global Walmart isn’t so Amazon will always have the upper hand
-
Too often am I disappointed with the product I receive from Amazon and some how I always end up finding better quality at a physical store it’s like they don’t really care what they’re giving you because you can’t see it before you buy it. Prime video is the real reason we have an amazon subscription

My area is saturated with supermarkets. I have Lidel, whole foods, trader joes, Stop and shop, shoprite, and Aldie's all within 5 kilometers of my residence. Which one is the best overall with quality and price? I've only been grocery shopping at Whole Foods.
