This afternoon against Luton Mainoo was the most composed and committed player on the pitch. There were 2 or 3 occasions when I just shook my head on awe at what he did. He will, I believe become World Class, but he's not the next Paul Scholes, he's the first Kobbie Mainoo. They are, apart from both being midfielders and for the moment at least, 2 quite different types of player.

Man U has got exciting young talent. Mainoo, Garnacho looking good they have huge potential imo, and with Hojlund becoming the youngest player to score in 6 consecutive prem games. It feels like a breath of fresh air. Future looking bright for Man U.

You missed the most important trait. He is fearleas composed and doesnt bulge under pressure
  • His Gameplay remind me of AC Milan Legend, Clarence Seedorf. Strong, very good balance on the ball and good control of the ball.

The perfect analogy I’ve heard about him is “Mainoo is the guy employers ask for when they say they want a uni graduate with 13 years experience”. The guy has played maybe 15 games, had a bad injury up until October-November but plays effortlessly. He should not be this good at 18 😂😂 Garnacho gets the hype because he’s a winger but this guy is generational

This kids got pure talent,What a player he will turn out be,he'll be class against Luton this evening CMON MAINOO❤

As long as Kobbie's keeping himself out of the media spotlight much like how Scholes did, quietly doing his business on the pitch and in training, he can be one of the best in the PL in the years to come.
  • @johanwalther4960
One thing also worth noting is that he seems really mature off the pitch, something many footballers lack, which also is incredible for his age
  • @fred1169
Just watched the Utd vs luton match, this guy is really special. Just world class.
  • @devontheron
This kid is special for sure! A HUGE talent, but his work ethic and humility will also gain him huge respect from the fans!!!
  • @shaima.alkaie
This Creator is Mad underrated 100% subbing Mainoo will be a huge talent

He is so good under pressure which is not easy to do. And he seems to make the right decision most times. He seems mature way ahead of his age. I too thought he could be our next Paul Scholes. But of course he will be different but maybe just as effective

What I like is he always looks to play forward and on the half turn, something that we have missed from central midfield for a while, only seeing odd glimpses from Pogba in recent years. Hopefully he can stay fit and gets an extended run in the team. He defo deserves it and seems mature beyond his age in interview
  • @ritchiebaxter627
I'm a huge fan of him. It's a bonus that we both come from Stockport. Hopefully as he becomes more famous the media don't put pressure on him. I still feel he needs a little taking care of to become a legend.

He's already an outstanding player, such balance and he is difficult to shake off the ball. Love watching the kid.
