HEY GIRL HEY!

Ladies and Gents, we have made it to part 3 of this series and today is all about styling your natural hair with hydration and longevity in mind. We are or course doing the wash and go on our 4c hair, which in my option is the hardest style to master.

SHARE THIS SERIES so that we can pass on this knowledge and we thank Elaine for being so open. With this method, there is NO NEED to "remoinsturize" during the week, no need to oil your scalp, no need for a ton of steps. Simply wash, condition, style and forget it for a week :)

Wishing you all the best on your hair journey. If your hair isn't hydrated for a week at a time, it aint my fault lol

xo

  • It hurts my heart that people have to ask 'what do I do if I don't have access to water or electricity'.
  • Girl, as someone who can’t afford to see a tight curl specialist atm. This is priceless!! Big thanks to you and the stylist for being so generous! 🙏🏾🤗
  • @olivegold1
Elaine is such a gift to the natural hair community. This video was filmed in Toronto as she travelled for her Tight Curl Nation movement. Like what. A full salon visit where she answers all questions asked , teaches techniques, gives recommendations. And she did the same thing on Just Tanoe’s video also. As well as in Nigeria teaching stylists there and even in another creators video who lives there. Literally such detailed and useful information for so many people free !! Wow ! Thank you thank you ! And thank you Jenn for bringing this video to our screens ! So grateful to God for you both. Now everyone please listen and learn !
  • @Listen2me400
I’m glad she mentioned that you don’t have to be stressed to get your hair finished in 30 minutes to an hour. It takes me 2 to 2 1/2 hours which includes dry time. It takes about 45 minutes to wash twice, detangle and condition. Then I shower, rinse out conditioner then style. After styling I now prefer to diffuse. It takes about 25-30 minutes.

This stylist’s voice is so calming! A lot of stylists need to take notes on her bedside manner🤣❤️❤️
  • @mwikakalima24
25:24... love the question ❤️❤️ no one thinks about people like us in such areas 😅🇿🇲 interesting that you even thought of that question. Thank yo
  • Jen Jen!!! You delivered early!! Your cup will never run dry In Jesus Name!! Muahh
  • @Ossouko
Now this how you do a collab with a professional!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 The stylist is such a vibe I’ll give her my money every month if I was leaving in Florida! 😆 Fantastic job on both side!! Definitely saving the series in my library to revisit and sending people I know with natural hair your way!😊💕 Side note: Although there are expensive the Innersense hydrating shampoo and their moisturising conditioner are a good investment .No toxic ingredients , no endocrine disruptors, and they *last*. I buy the 1L refills once a year that’s it.
  • @dido2341
I'm really out here in Japan on this hair journey on my own with not a single tight curl specialist in the country so I wanna say THANK YOU for this detailed tutorial and Q&A series on the Wash n Go. I've got my products, my two hands, your videos and a prayer.
  • elaine is so sweet and intelligent and has such a soothing voice! if she had a podcast with other tight curlies i’d definitely listen! even meditations on insight timer lol I really like her voice and energy
  • @lenaedyse9634
If I remember correctly, this is the same stylist that was interviewed by Adunno or Fo. When I saw that interview, I remember wanting this stylist to come to AZ to do my hair and teach local hairstylist how to care for tightly coiled and kinky hair. So, imagine my surprise when one of my favorite youtubers decides to do a detailed interview with this particular hairstylist. All I have to say is thank you and may God bless your journey.

SO glad we are proud of OUR hair. Get that makeup jewelry and pip it “y'all”
  • That part about water ratio and climate was super interesting and informative. I am a twist out girl, always have been, but winters in Texas are more humid than summer! So that was really helpful!! Loved this series
  • ELAIIIINNNEEE!! She's amazing. She did my hair all through college and is also just a fantastic human being!
  • @Barnes247
Part 3 didn’t disappoint! Such awesome & informative information shared! I’m now following both you & Elaine on IG! 🥰 AND…..doing my part to support you Jenn by purchasing your Peace In Paradise self care box. 🙌🏽✨😍. LADIES, please go and support Jenn by purchasing her self care box. Let’s support her being a full time Content Creator/Influence by purchasing her box. 💖 Lastly, thank you Jenn for all the great educational videos. I’m rooting for you to be super successful in all your endeavors‼️✨💯
  • @ItsdidiN
Hey girl HEY 🤗 1. This cut looks GREAT on you 👌🏾 I mean WOW 2. I never did a wash and go before I went to a hair specialist here in Ottawa and loved the experience. She pretty much said the same thing: learn to love doing my hair, the length, etc BUT I’m happy to learn that my hair eventually progress while doing wash and go’s 🎉 3. Thank you for taking the time in explaining all that since the washing part. Also Jenn, your capacity to always come up with new and interesting videos to take care of our beautiful hair amazes me 🙇🏾‍♀️ Ok bye girl ❤️
  • @cham9984
Love this series! Thanks so much for taking us along to your salon day. I’m about to go and try my wash and go now!
  • @felicia_716
I love her laid back approach. BGC can be so dictorial "this is the only way" "only use these products or your hair is sh!t" lol I think their message gets lost.
