"Trying a disc out in the polecat slot...." 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
  • After 2ish years of watching your videos I finally gave in and bought a pig. It definitely does exactly what you’d expect a pig to do. The only thing that surprised me was how well I can forehand the pig. It goes about 20 feet farther forehand than all the other approach discs I’ve tried. I feel like I can make it do exactly what I want, and stick exactly where I want. Thank you for contributing to my future pig endeavors 😂 I put it straight in the bag after giving it a toss.

Great video had to watch twice because it was easy to miss some of the tips
  • My base plastic os disc is the tactic as you mentioned right at the end. I got a RC3 as os, new exo hard for straight to stable, and a beat to heck exo hard as my precious child.

A somewhat underrated disc that I always keep in the bag is the Viking cosmos. First disc I ever aced with. Think it’s a very good starter disc as well to help with teaching newer players some angle control in the 7 speed slot.

Only been playing for about two months now, but I just today threw my aviar x3 in from 65 feet.

I just found the need for an overstable approach disc this year and about 6 weeks ago got my zone and it has been very helpful to my game.

Glad the elbow is coming along well, Robbie!! I carry a Jawbreaker Zone and a Star Toro, and love both! The JB Zone; the harder you throw it, the straighter it goes. I need to get a backup and beat that in!! The Toro is certainly more OS, but it's not a dump truck...it's very usable and reliable overstability. I do get that there's some overlap between the two, but I also feel like there will always be approach shots I can throw with one that I can't with the other. I don't anticipate either one coming out of my bag anytime soon!

I actually just aced with my beat in pig about a week ago finally I was stoked

Overstable putt/approach for me is the zone, but specifically the 2022 Ledgestone metallic Z Flx. I have probably 15 at this point and grab more when I find them. They hold up pretty well, but my two that are in my bag are now in two different seasoning stages. May have to put a 3rd in for the new os slot.

The Crystal Flx Get Freaky Zone is my first overall choice and I used to supplement that with a more overstable Peppermint. I eventually replaced the PM with a 400 A2 but recently replaced that with a Special Blend A2 (Gannon Buhr Austin "Frozen Longhorn") that I probably use more than the Zone. It's my go to for forehand approach shots within 150'.

My first os approach disc was and still is the harp. Got it in pink opto ice orbit and absolutely fell in love with it :D It feels so nice on the forehand chip ups but im kinda torn on how the bead feels on backhand. Still propably my most thrown disc this year.

The Sharingan and Rinnegan dyes you have are absolutely beautiful. I gotta get me one of those someday
  • @user-rn8sy7kj1h
Glad you mentioned the reactor, people sleep on that mold. I have 3 in the bag, fizzy, proton, and eclipse. They go so far!
  • The Westside Anvil is my OS approach disc at the moment. Still super reliable despite a few chunks missing from the rim.
  • @ogdiscgolfer
Thanks for walking us through your discs and why... along with alternatives... very informative and helpful... now if you could get Jason to dance in the background it would be a perfect video!
  • @noirsuit1427
Love throwing the buzz and wasp. I’ll throw either one around 270ft, then suddenly it’ll fall out of the air, and fade at the same time. I have them both in 176-177 grams
