Top expectations from the union budget include some relief for taxpayers, which is what everyone is actually watching out for. The government is also expected to continue their capex and infrastructure push, to both boost growth and help create jobs.
Job creation is another area which is likely to be addressed, with a roadmap for bridging the economic growth vs unemployment gap.
The finance minister will also stress on the rural and agri sectors, along with a manufacturing push, especially in the defence sector.
Prime Minister Modi ahead of the budget session of parliament said that this budget will highlight the government's priorities for the next 5 years and be an important one in the government's 'Viksit Bharat by 2047' push.
