Why home owner insurance don't pay to cut down trees but will pay to replace the home when the tree split the home in half that is crazy new laws need to be added

Usually GC has construction insurance while GC taken on the project to protect uncertainty events. New structure has not being transfer to buyer yet therefore, no liability from buyer.

I'm questioning the builders. The foundation or materials don't seem up to quality because that storm wasn't even a Cat 1. So what if the Storm was a Cat 4 or 5????? That means the whole damn home would be gone.
