  • At 67 I still enjoying looking at the old western movies . The scenery is absolutely beautiful . Live in the Caribbean 🇹🇹

I sit here in my chair waiting to die and the only view out of the window is flat town houses and streets. These films which I’ve seen a time or two are wonderful. For me it’s the scenery and the country. Wide open skies of brilliant blue with pine trees, meadows, mountains and scrub. I’d give anything to have one last holiday among that scenery.

Every time we watch this action packed western, we are reminded of just how good westerns are. Thank for keeping this classic western live & for sharing.

And oldie but goodie! If you like westerns, then watch it.
  • It was nice to watch a Western, of back when. I probably watched that western with my Dad when I was a kid. I'm 71 now. Thanks for the memories❣️
  • I remember my elders talking about how things had changed for the worse, and as a youngster I disagreed. Now I am the one long in the tooth. But reality is what it is. Looking into the personal history, if you can believe that, there was evil afoot even way back then, and movies like this just make you feel a little better about Mankind. We have such a long way to go, but movies like this give me hope and confidence that we will prevail over evil and we will walk among the stars in the universe. Great movie fellas. Very rare quality in today's modern flics!

Something honest about old westerns. Bad people get justice, men and woman are, well, men and woman.

The Silver Whip is a 1953 American Western film directed by Harmon Jones and starring Dale Robertson, Rory Calhoun and Robert Wagner

I watched a lot of westerns through the decades but one interesting thing that’s different with 1950s westerns is the hero often Mary’s his sweetheart in the end and they ride off together. I went to weddings during the 1950s and we put marriage at the top of the list of most important things because we really believed in living happily ever after.

Dale Robertson is the best. I’ve watched every episode of ‘Tales of Wells Fargo’ and I’ll watch them again.

Awesome, 3 of my favorite actors, Robert Wagner, Rory Calhoun, and Dale Robertson, sure brings back memories of my childhood with my family….my parents watched all the westerns and it was great seeing this with them. How I love them and the stories they told….much better than some of the movies I’ve seen nowadays with lewd and vulgar language and sexual overtones in them, it does nothing to make a film better…ONLY good story writing and great actors/actresses makes a film good…..thanks for sharing…👍❤️🙏🏼🐎

Think about it, people had been riding horses and wagons like that for 2000 years a few decades later it was all gone.
