  • Here I am, I'm a 24 year old Brazilian trying to change my life. Right now I'm studying programming, because I need to change my life. Well, at the moment I work at a company where they don't value their employees, but I'm here! Trying to be better, but not better than anyone else and yes, better at what I can be. One day I will share this comment and smile with everything that happened. Everything will get better. At the sound of Alfa Mist, I will go very far.

As an anthropologist with a kink for lo fi, jazz, funk, and their electronic reinterpretations, how could I resist clicking on an album in my feed named "structuralism". Didn't disappoint.

"For me now what I'm realising is, I.. I'm done trying to.. treat people to their finished beings, because we all unfinished basically.. We all are unraweling, it's very unfare for me to act like I got you figured out.." WISE words, WISE

I've clicked through so many videos, through so many incredible, weird ambient landscapes... I feel like I'm going on a train trip, seeing a succession of crazy, never-before-seen scenes from history, important, weird musics through the window as I pass... there's so much to explore. So many places to alight and dwell in the ambiences that are on offer. This stop, in particular, is brilliant 🕊

My laptop’s on fire and it’s your fault,,, There was no need for grooves that nasty, chords so smooth and solos so haunting. Huge congrats to you and the band, this is a masterpiece

That Retainer's bridge to the second section of the song and subsquently Jordan's Door.... Dear God, this is pure music in flow!

I’m an old timer long time jazz/fusion musician. My son just turned me on to this and I must say that I’m blown away! So much so that I just scored tickets to Alfa’s show here in Oakland, California . Totally excited to check out these great young players!
  • Alfa Mist creates music that is not just good. But it takes you to a spiritual place of peace. I hope one day he tours the US. This is the music we need to get our sanity. Thank you and God bless.

Music like this gives us the very best chance to connect and appreciate each other wherever we are. Chill. Most of us listening have gone through trauma that maybe nobody could understand but this calls us all to a higher ground. Beautiful. Thank you x
