Fun fact, Raven attacking the president broke my TV. I remember the President saying he was attacked, and suddenly the TV went static. I lost cable for 3 weeks

The fact that the Secret Service does more to protect Sophie in this show than it does President Martinez leads me to believe that she's either planning some coup or she's the real President and he's just a puppet

Fun fact: The episode where Corey becomes President was part of a special event where his show, Hannah Montana, and the Suite Life all aired a gimmick where they had a wish come true via a shooting star… and Corey had objectively the easiest way out since all he had to do was hit a button that was given to him minute 1.

Cory is definently in the Republican party, with Libertarian leanings. He's progressive on social issues, but fiscally he's all about getting the bag.

"The CIA are mad scientists in this universe" Actually that's probably the most realistic aspect of this show.

You forgot to mention the best part of the Alaska episode: why Corey and the Ambassador settle the dispute through DDR! It's because Corey happens to see the ambassador playing DDR with his daughter, who is beating him quiet handily. So Corey challenges the ambassador to DDR because he's certain he'll win. But then the ambassador reveals he was intentionally letting his daughter win as he's actually something like a five time world champion DDR player. So of course the ambassador accepts Corey's challenge.

I think the president was meant to be a vague Bush parody, but vague enough that there wouldn't be any controversy. I think Disney probably wanted to avoid actual politics as much as possible, but the writers still wanted to make a couple Bush jokes
