I love how Chris enjoys roasting bad coasters so much the worst coasters version of this video is already done
  • @micahmagnet
I would love to see you rank every defunct manufacturer’s last coaster
  • @crveech
I visited Knoebels for the first time yesterday and got 3 rides on Phoenix. The airtime is so insane, it almost doesn't seem safe.
  • @Andrew-gh5pm
I went to Hershey park, and I have to say, skyrush new lap bars are amazing. No pain and much better airtime. Maybe you won’t hate it anymore
  • @AirtimeAxolotl
Do a video of the best standing but not operateing coasters
  • @theheardtheorem
Ranking every manufacturer’s 1-2 Punch or Big 3! Or you can throw out the top and bottom 2 or 3 for every manufacturer and have a Battle of The Mids!!!!
  • @kingstyn
love that my homepark (kentucky kingdom) got two mentions here!
  • Having Intamin below B&M is crazy to me 😂 It's funny how everyone has completely different opinions on coasters & rankings. Great video as always.
  • Since you're a baseball guy, how about ranking every manufacturer by batting average. Which coasters are "hits" and which are "misses", then seeing which manufacturer makes the most consistently good coasters
  • I just rode Mr. Freeze forwards at SFOT at the start of June, and I honestly preferred it forwards. I thought the launch and spike taken forwards were better experienced in that direction, and I was so impressed with how good it was
  • My favorite Arrow coaster is different, but that could be because I haven't gotten to ride Magnum. As much as I love X2 as an Arrow coaster, I would actually pick Shock Wave at SFGA as my favorite. It was so intimidating, with one of the sharpest looking paint schemes, bright, electric blue track and white supports. I am lucky enough to have ridden it when it was brand new and was super smooth. I was also lucky enough to have ridden Vortex at King's Island when it was brand new, but Shock Wave has the edge. I am eternally sad that I never got to ride Drachen Fire, but at least I still have Viper at SFMM.

I'm so glad to see RTH on here. I think that this ride is so much perfect...it has the perfect level of intensity in my opinion and it's also aestetically beautiful. The elements of the first half of rth are more about fun and disorientation than intensity , and this is good because you can enjoy more the intensity of the 2nd half without being too sick after those in the 1st, and the intensity just keeps building up! Also, while the 2nd half focuses more on airtime, the 1st is more about hangtime and positives, so there's a combination of every force you could have in a coaster, toghether with the out of control feeling, without being too much or too monotonous (like only focusing on airtime or only inversions). If you put more elements in the same lenght for making the ride more intense, they risk to be too next to each other and, combined with the spinning, you are probabily not able to enjoy each one, because they're blended together. There's too much happening. And you'll probabily end up being sick at the end of the ride, so it won't be so re-rideable. And considering this ride is already too intense for many people, I think that "more intense" doesn't mean "better". Of course the layout could be even more extreme on paper, but remember that's not a ordinary coaster. The fact of being always different and re-rideable, of not being too intense (for many people it still is), of having a mix of all the forces you can imagine on a coaster and giving you that out of control feeling with some of the craziest elements ever are the things that make rth perfect in my opinion. This combined with the Tomorrowland theming, which is very unique and lovely.

Brilliant concept for a video & even more brilliant execution. This a fantastic video & I'd love to see a ranking of all 31 overall, though I'm sure that'd be MUCH more subjective & much more difficult. Fantastic stuff!!
  • @ItsAllGood_
Have you ever done a best theming video? I went on Iron Menace over the weekend. The theming had to do with a Pennsylvania paranormal team investigating some guy named McTavish because he burned down an iron factory (or something like that). Weird...but I appreciate them trying. I will take any theming over no theming (talking to you Pantheon). A worst theming video would be fun too.

I think you had a lot of the correct coasters. My Top 15: 1. Mack- Ride to Happiness- my #1 overall 2. RMC- Steel Vengeance- It is my #2 overall and I could easily put 4 different coasters in this spot. 3. S&S- Eejanaika - Rode X2 many times and this looks liek it would put it to shame. 4. Intamin- Gotham City Escape or Taiga- Haven't been on either but both looks amazing. Velocicoaster is my #4 overall would be the third option. 5. B&M- Fury 325- Easy choice 6. Gravity Gorup- Voyage- Another Easy choice 7. GCI- Wood Coaster- Another Easy choice 8. Vekoma- Lech Coaster- I've ridden FLY, great coaster but I think Lech Coaster just looks super intense. Will ride it next month. 9. Morgan- Phantom's Revenge- Easy choice. Very underrated coaster 10. Arrow- X2- Slightly prefer it to Magnum 11. CCI- GhostRider- Easy choice. If they could get Shivering Timbers to be smoother it could give it a run for its money. 12. Gertstlauer- Karnan- Easy choice. I'm not much of a Gerstlaurer fan so this may be high on some others list. 13. PTC- Phoenix- Another easy choice 14. Zamperla- Top Thrill 2- Grading it as if it is on par with the original. It could move up a spot or 2 once I ride it. 15. Giovanola- Anaconda- This invert looks to be one of the best in the world Just missed: Pax- Wild Train

My coaster experience is pretty limited so there are only a few manufacturers from which I've even ridden multiple coasters, but for those, I can pick a favorite: - Arrow: Loch Ness Monster, BGW. Great use of terrain, one of the most photogenic coasters ever made, and the elements are restrained enough that Arrow's lack of heartlining isn't a problem. - Vekoma: Expedition Everest, Disney's Animal Kingdom. Extravagant Disney theming and a layout that contributes, with a dark backwards track section including an intense helix. The yeti's been broken since shortly after it was installed, but the whole experience is strong enough that you don't care much. - PTC: Mr. Twister, Elitch Gardens. This was a diabolical ride, and it ran with only a buzzbar, though it focused more on laterals and surprises than airtime. - Intamin: Superman: The Ride, SFNE. Still a classic hyper. The restraints don't bother me that much. - B&M: Shambhala, PortAventura. This now seems like it was preparation for building gigas. Visually beautiful, unusually large hyper with lots of graceful floater air and a unique turnaround that probably inspired Fury's. - CCI: This one's hard. The two I've ridden are Boulder Dash and Stampida. Boulder Dash is by far the more epic of the two, and the first time I rode it back around 2012, it was great. But the last time I rode it the ride had deteriorated and I definitely enjoyed Stampida more than that. I'll give it to Boulder Dash out of sentimentality and hope.

I guarantee everyone will totally agree with this list and the coaster community will live in harmony afterwards 😇
  • Neat rides. That Hamster Wheel coaster looks totally insane. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
