I loved this as a youngster...it belonged to my Mum which I found it back in the 70's and then proceeded to drive my Mum nuts by playing it over and over again and again!!

With the exception of Cliffs Move It, this was pure British 50's rock and roll. Although it was an oldie by the time I could appreciate music, 1970 onwards, it still sounds fresh 62 years on.

Open your ears and you'll hear Harry Robinson, Benny Green and Red Price , all great British jazz musicians.

In a way this song was revolutionary and groundbreaking, since before 1959 an organ in a rock and roll song was almost unheard of, then after this comes out we see the more famous Happy Organ which really kicked off the "organ in rock music" craze.

Went to #1 on 25 November 1958. This featured Cherry Wainer on Hammond organ, sadly Cherry passed away just 2 weeks ago.

What a great record. It always manages to lift my spirits whenever I hear it. I still have this both on the 45rpm and also 78rpm formats.
