  • The first chick is so cool. It's like she has the beautiful white dress from mom and a formal grey coat from dad.
  • I think they were beautiful on their own...the cross breeding doesn't make them beautiful

Pidge doing his best turkey impression! All very cute! I’ll always be fond of the classic grey city pidge colors. Most of my rescues were greys and they were the weirdest little goofballs! Never loved me, but they liked me well enough and loved each other and that was more than enough entertainment!

Cute crossbreeds, love the "hairy" legs. As a crossbreed myself I will defend the beauty of any crossbreed.

THEYRE BOTH GORGEOUS ESPECIALLY THE FIRST ONE

Those two photos are both from the same species. The white fan tail is a breed. Breeds of all species are formed through human intervention by selectively breeding specific traits for several generations (which also includes culling [killing] any harchlings that don't fit the desired result). If you take two fan tails and allow them to breed without intervention, they would all revert to the standard species format within about 3 generations.
  • mmm, seems that F1 generation retains the shaking trait of the fantail
