Solo Rat Gameplay (Hunt: Showdown)

You love to see it. I get a lot of trash talk after dying when playing solo that I never experience after losing in a team. I don’t even play much differently when solo - just a bit quicker, a bit quieter, a bit more selective about my fights and bit more ready to gtfo when things aren’t working out. Still, I’ll end up going down after a pitched battle with a team and, about once every other day, some guy is there to talk shit. I think it’s just a kind of resentment for the anxiety of not wanting to be embarrassed by losing a 2/3v1. When they win, they don’t get the same satisfaction because they were at a significant advantage to being with, so they overcompensate with insults to kind of take out that dissatisfaction on the solo player that made them feel nervous about losing, and deprived them of a feeling of superiority when winning.
