This episode really shows what it means to change no matter what situation you’re in in life. Some people find it boring that the action slowed down and there’s more talking, but Vinland Saga wasn’t meant to be this kind of anime. Some people just can’t rock with that kind of style, but I’m glad you guys can fully understand the beauty of Vinland Saga season 2🔥

This episode was so beautiful so powerful can't believe people dropped it cause there's no action, vinland saga truly deserve the place with the top manga/anime , i absolutely adore the path thorfinn is taking

hold up! new intro alert! loved it and love you guys. btw the J in Bjorn is silent lol but yes... the ultimate thing is that thors has the same dead bodies clinging to him. thats why he stopped fighting. he coudlnt carry anymore souls with him. he didnt want his son to have the same fate.

I've never seen a piece of media so clearly and literally separate the men from the boys like S2 does. You guys proved yourself once again at this, the first perfect, and a massive turning point, episode of S2. Excellent job fellas. Welcome to peakland.

something I think a lot of people missed about why Thorfinn is so caught up in his punch is that it wasn't just a punch he was referring to, the fall into the pit was a symbol of his rage teetering him over the edge into his bloodlust. he has been killing people for a long time in his anger, so his rage and his impulse to hurt are basically bound together.

I don't think any episode of anime (or tv in general) has ever made me as emotional and passionate than this one. Now we all know what it means to become a true warrior as well, and we should all follow that path to the absolute possible best of our abilities 💪🙏♥️

I love this episode. And the dream with Thors in Vinland. I'm not sure if you guys caught it from the first episode, but when Leif Erikson (which was a real person, we even have a huge park and statue with his name in my town in Minnesota, because, Vikings duh lol) was telling the story, that story was about him finding the "new continent" ("A new land where fruit grows and grassy plains cover the land"). Leif Erikson was a Norse explorer who is thought to have been the first European to set foot on continental America, about 500 years before Christopher Columbus!!. According to the sagas of Icelanders, where Thorfinn is from, he established a Norse settlement at Vinland, which is usually interpreted as being coastal North America. And you can see that while telling the story in episode 1, he is wearing what it looks like a native american headpiece and smoking. I love Leif's character in Vinland Saga so much and I'm so happy you're enjoying the show even when there's hardly any gore/action.

I think poeple underestimate " guilt " as an emotion , we talk about love , anger , pain , misery, but rarely guilt , as long as we are human we are bound to make mistakes , some made more then others, some feels it more , and as much as it pushs us to correct those mistakes, it can equally hinder us from doing so , my god if i were in thorfin's shoes , the amount of guilt i would feel turn me into a non functional suicidal vegetable , so he better fight that battle against guilt , one that will stick with him for eternity and attempt to drag him down at every corner

One of the best moments in all of storytelling. Shows mental struggles so honestly.
