It fascinates me how little research even influential people put into verifying Eddie's backstory. All it took was 1 person to blow the whole thing wide open. Coffeezilla is THE GOAT

Eddie made the perfect scapegoat, and while I do think Logan is dumb about many things, money and using people aren't some of them. Eddie is a smokescreen at this point and Logan and his team are going to use that to defend themselves, probably successfully, to stay out of serious trouble.

The reason they all thought he was humble and down to Earth is that when people ask liars a question the ambigious responses seem humble. Person: "What else do you do Eddie?" Eddie: "Ah man, I don't want to talk about it. I don't like talking about myself" Person: "Eddie is such a saint, he doesn't want to talk about his accomplisments"

I've always been amazed. How much bs someone can get away with unchecked. My buddy is always frustrated all the engineering work he's done and no one has ever even checked his education or anything
