That's the saddest part of this war it's why I keep up on it .I can't imagine being trapped in that country and forced to fight a war because your government won't negotiate peace. The Russians are ready to stop this, and people in Ukraine want to live 🙄 at this point. They could care less about the redrawn map. This is live and death and totally unnecessary. everything looks so neat on a map, on the videos, people are being blown to pieces, killing themselves, burnt alive, losing limbs etc etc

Based on the map, Lyptsi seems to be in the low land surrounded by high land on the east and west. The west side is also very forested. The russians will not enter the town until they figure out where everything hides around and clean it. I bet they will first extend south on the East side to secure one high side, and see if they can get to the west side forest from the North or west. The russian very likely do not want to give a propaganda win to Zelensky at this time.

Time works for Russia as much as the Points of Attrition go massively bad for the losers. Capturing territory, is then a secondary matter while removing enemies from the battlefield is the decisive tool for victory. ( we all know what " removing" means and how impossible is the replacement). Put in the equation the analogy of fire power, reserves, air dominance etc that Russia has on her favour...well..GG WELL PLAYED.
