This generation is so anxious and in a hurry, even Fandom drama is happening fast
  • @ItzMuffinzz
I’ve been listening to Yaelokre since before they became popular and I’m happy they finally got attention but it’s sad they got it like this
  • i always found it so weird how people blame creatives for creating something and weird people get into it literally it’s none of our faults these weirdos decided to take this medium we present and twist it in a way
  • @therealnefali
I only found Yaeklokre through Harpy Hare, but I really like their other music now! Sucks that people seem to want to ruin things just because they are trending

People need to understand that a person’s online passion project is NOT the same as a corporate studio’s piece of media. Like the levels of barriers between fan and creator or amount of people working on it are nowhere near comparable and that’s why sometimes you may need to reign your behavior in if you’re interacting DIRECTLY with a creator.
  • @Swampwater633
I feel so bad for the creator of Yaelokre. I couldn't image having to bear people ruining your creation like that and hating it to hate it. These people wanting to go against the grain and be different by bullying creators are the reason so many people don't share the wonderful things they make, and that's honestly pretty disgusting.
  • Look man, I’m a nsfw artist sometimes. It’s fun as hell. HOWEVER, if a creator of a series explicitly says “hey, I don’t like this. This isn’t something I condone. Please stop”, you stop. It’s just out of decency and respect. A content creator I draw nsfw of their series of in my free time has stated that he doesn’t mind, and therefore it’s fine to draw it for funnies, but when someone states that they’re uncomfortable and don’t consent to their characters being sexualized NO MEANS NO.

I feel for Yaelokre. As someone who has a few passion projects I usually share with a small audience of friends and mutuals my worst nightmare is this project becoming twisted outside of its intended borders and meaning. Sharing work online is not an invitation for people to twist and bend this story or headworld to their liking. It is Yaelokres work and characters. Theyre sharing their works with the world and not for people to take their ideas and hard work to ruin it for them (referencing the proshipping stuff and people making up lore for Yaelokres characters). Artists get so much disrespect, it’s saddening.
  • As a creator, this is probably one of my biggest fears: im scared to sharemy ideas and projects because of what people might think. I feel like they will either hate stuff to the point of bullying or love it to the point of mischaracterize it. Or you know the third secret option where no one cares and it feels like all my effort was for nothing. Being bullied and taken advantage of for my creativity as a child is probably why I think this way but uh, YeaAH
  • So glad my fandom is small 😭😭 I’ve literally seen no drama because there’s like no fandom smh
  • @ColorsK
Despite the Yaelokre fandom going down within WEEKS, I feel like this should be a learning experience for everyone! If anyone is planning to join a fandom, remember to respect the creator, take things fans say with a grain of salt (like Emma said in the video), and that not everything in the fandom is gonna be perfect. I hope Keath is doing okay and this video is amazing, as always, Emma! (I love your art!) 🧡

NEW EMMA POSTTTT THE CROWD GOES WILD
  • @Sosokimoon
“All hail Emma!” We chant in unison

i was listening to harpy hare not too long before this was uploaded‼️‼️ i hate it when people just hate for no reason just to seem different or “cool.” hating to the point of the creator switching platforms and even having to leave the internet for a bit is absurd and they should all be disappointed in themselves. the artwork is stunning btw!!
  • @sparkless6782
"EMMA ARTLY UPLOADED" we all shout happily in unison
  • @ttartadefresa
It really makes me sad how people refuse to give an opportunity to wonderful projects like yaelokre, or even hate on them so intensely just because they are popular and they want to feel different, they even dare to insult the creator when they didn't do anything problematic. People on tiktok are so used to the app being their only way to communicate with others that they lack basic empathy, it seems to be a trend now to think that EVERYTHING is cringe and believing that it gives you the right to hate others just for doing what they like, it makes me sick.
  • @1art4u
Honestly, I’m so glad Emma explained this. I haven’t seen the drama itself, just people saying something happened and it was very difficult to find out what was going on
  • @bella_daze3092
7:32 THIS IS SOMETHING THATS BEEN BOTHERING ME FOR AWHILE. Why the hell are kids on TikTok? Why the HELL are they blindly trusting every word? They have to think for themselves, to grow, adapt, and NOT trust every word someone says on the internet. Because sometimes the Internet is just full of noise.😭
  • I found Harpy Hare in recommended videos on YouTube and found it really personal, I had no idea the wider internet had cast such a shadow over the project, that's awful. I really hope the creator is able to feel better soon.
