  • Tom, thank you SO much for understanding what Dan Campbell is about as a coach. You can't put it any better.
  • Gibbs does not need to have an "MVP" season. The Lions have plenty of weapons to spread around. They also do not need to kick field goals, they need to stay aggressive. What they need is to have a passing defense that can protect a lead. Edit: Some will think pass rush, but really it is more about the coverage or increasing sack rate when they blitz.
  • YES. That is what Lions like to hear as a take on Campbell, well said!

Finally somebody points out the obvious: the real key to GB success is whether or not the D starts winning games instead of losing them as they have done for too long. NFC North is going to be a whole lotta fun this year.

Did everyone just conveniently forget the Lions were supposed to trust Michael Badgely in the NFC Championship? I know it fits the Same Old Lions narrative better to pin it on Campbell but it's pretty clear by their offseason transactions that they didn't trust their kicker
  • Hater's aren't trying to hear that about Dan Campbell.. it's making wayyyy to much logical sense snd besides you're not giving them nothing to HATE on .. they're not tryna believe he's a top tier coach for the Lions .. it's ZERO tolerance for that!😂😂

Everyone misses that the lions didn't trust their kicker to get the points.

Damn, Tom put him in his place for that comment about the field goal. Glad to see some people aren’t afraid to have opinions instead of regurgitate someone else’s.

Unbelievable at the point that all these professionals with all the stats at their fingertips still don't know that the Lions kicker had not made a single kick over 45yds on grass since 2020. SMH

Pressure is on the Rookie! First pass will be a screen
  • 2022 Minnesota game 4th 3 he elected to kick a field goal it was missed.. Vikings took the ball scored a TD and won the game. A tearful Dan Campbell said he should have trusted his guys and vowed to not make the same mistake again. Im surprised nobody ever brings this up🤔

Maybe because I am a Lions fan but why is Green Bay immeately getting all this hype about being a super bowl team and winning the North? Maybe I am in my bubble and ignorant to what they're building across Lake Michigan.

How has this gotten so twisted around? Tom casually says Drake Maye is the furthest of the top drafted QB's to be ready to play in the NFL and William the most ready. This is flat out wrong, Maye was considered the MOST NFL ready, with Caleb Williams the furthest, Maye has played nothing but a pro style offense and Williams has never played one and hasn't even taken 3 and 7 step drop back passes, all he's ever run is a style not used in the pro's and all his snaps have been from the shotgun. Go find there scouting and draft reports, it's all there for anyone to read and all that's happened since then is a couple offseason workouts. Yet somehow, without a single second football being played, now Maye is the least ready and Williams the most NFL ready. WTF.
