We've been on the road for almost 40 years, first with the military then embassy duty and now a defense company. Our 2 children were born on the road (Botswana and Hawaii). This is home number 17, next month we move to Saud Arabia. It's a most exciting and adventurous life. I love it.

it is actually about never settling down. Having to ease others’ pain while exhausted. A real noble job indeed 💪
  • @Megaseawolf
That is so true! A diplomat's life might seem glamorous yet it is indeed really hard.
  • The hardest part, is giving your life and your family at high risk. Second, I think, is to keep moving to another country and adapt to the culture, society, laws, education, language, et al. (Harder, when you have family). You need God's favor!
  • Joey Hood, you are a Man of strength character, smart and a genius........ Thank you again for mentioning Bujumbura, the capital city of my beautiful country Burundi 🇧🇮...... I am speechless for your knowledge because a lot of people don’t care about poor countries such as Burundi , what the forget is that we are humans and it is not our fault that we were born in such under developed country but it just because we were betrayed by the system of greed and corruption!!!!! Thank you again and may God Bless you and your family!

You are speaking the truthfully Mr. Joey, this is not for everyone. If you want to " travel the World" buy an airline ticket, if you want to be "star" make a youtube channel. God Bless!

Very interesting! I've always wanted to become a diplomat as a child (then because of diplomatic immunity, now because of being able to help people and learn languages) and learning about the reality of the job even makes it more interesting for me (although I don't think any embassy would take me haha)
  • @KingJCJ
