Then we will drive to the Roanoke Island Festival Park, a historic site that allows visitors of all ages to experience first-hand what life was like for the first English settlers in 1585. There are interpreters in historic costumes at the English Settlement site, and at the Elizabeth II ship that will demonstrate how the first settlers lived, worked and played on Roanoke Island. For a hands-on history lesson, we will visit the American Indian Town that feature interactive exhibits for all ages. Then just a short drive away, we will have our sumptuous late lunch at the Blue Water Grill and Raw Bar in the town of Manteo, NC.

Beautiful Island. The park is big and great for walking and just chilling. That is awesome to see handcrafting making a nail. So much to see and learn. about the old history of the English coming in NC. The old boat is well preserved. The water view is gorgeous. Thumbs up! 102
