Everyone missed a box on the checklist. Peter: Not a perfect loop. Wren: Not really satisfying. Clint: Didn't use mouth sound design. I vote they all be disqualified and you send the 3090 to me.
-
Could Clint please finish his render properly so we can enjoy that incredible scene
-
Wren's render is not even close to being satisfying, it's purely terrifying
-
Peter: Cofee is important for making renders. It's not. It's just a chemical dependancy Wren: Chugs a bottle of tabasco sauce
-
"Most satisfying render" Wrens first idea is a smoking, decapitated head with a distressed look.
-
Peter: Skips the loop rule (That he added). Wren: Skips the satisfaction criteria (which IS the win condition). Clint: Skips the sound rule (...that he added). Just a fair and balanced competition.
-
The only thing about Peter's is that it is almost too busy. There isn’t really a clear focal point which I feel detracts from the satisfaction, but it was crazy good.
-
I love the reality show mocking they do lmao
-
"lets make something satisfying" wren: "so imma put my chopped head on a grass and make smoke came out of my nostrils"
-
Peter: "I'm going emotional" Clint: "I'm going Zen" Wren: "I'm going full horror, bit*hes!..."
-
you know what's the most satisying thing in this video is wren saying "us" at the same time those two parts click together at 0:42

I literally did an undergraduate seminar/thesis on what makes things oddly satisfying to the human brain based on Darwinism and human evolution. Basically my theory is exactly that it replicates ASMR visually. However, you also need to account for shine (which tells your brain that it is safe - ie. shiny foods are good to eat because theres no rot) and the perfect fit (seeing something fit perfectly into another thing - meaning that it is meant to be there and something isnt out of place)! Obvi theres more to the theory but these are awesome!
-
Peter and Clint: “Let’s make something relaxing and satisfying.” Wren: “I’m gonna make some nightmare fuel.”
-
I feel like Peter could have his own show on here one day!
-
Normal people: drink coffee Gamers: drink Gfuel Wren: drinks hot sauce
-
I keep reading comments that Peter's was too busy to be satisfying. IMO the elaborate nature of it WAS what made it satisfying -- the way it just unfolds into this perfectly efficient factory, all these components fluidly carrying out different tasks simultaneously, delivering each food item to the plate/tray in perfect succession. Very satisfying.
-
To catch all the details in Peter's animation I watched it at least 10 times! Kudos to everyone guys but Peter's was awesome!
-
Might have to try that "main line some hot sauce to stay awake while editing at 3 am" trick🤔
-
Sound effects are important too
-
Agreed Peter won that in a landslide. If Clint had followed the sound rules and gotten a better render, he probably would have won it. Wren... Yeah, you know you made nightmare fuel.
