We are so stuck on doing the same old thing: work. Home. Repeat. The mindset to be proactive or responsible has been lost on most Americans. Attaching oneself to a local community is best. Fighting for the “greater cause” is, often, too abstract to feel emotional invested in.

I just joined as I agree 100% with what you say. I'm 80, and none of my biological grandkids plan to have children. But I have grandchildren and great-grandchildren, from my adopted children, and I want to leave a better world for them. That isn't going to happen if our government keeps cutting off our personal freedoms.

When it comes to geopolitics, I find it really fascinating how so many policies, rulings, and decisions are made but where the purported reasons behind them aren't the main reasons, which cannot be openly stated. Everyone is tip-toeing around the elephant in the room, and as long as it isn't mentioned it's all fine. If it's mentioned, it's denied, and everyone soon gets back to circling around the elephant.

Tiktok has radicalized my little sister. (24 years old) She was completely uninterested in worlds events before tiktok. Last week the family had dinner. Israel came up and she said. "You can't get in and you cant get out. It's apartheid." This is a woman who's main concerns in life used to be the cast of Love is blind. I am absolutly stunned how quickly tiktok is bringing people up to speed.
