The get grounded segment really hit home with me. Anxiety makes me feel like I’m not real. I’m so relieved to know I’m not the only one that feels like this

Anxiety makes me feel sick to my stomach, and part of my anxiety was over medical issues which doesn't help at all. I decided to try to review my CBT skills and this video really helped. Thank you.

What helps me is reading the comments, and knowing that I am not alone🙏🏿
  • Prayer has lowered my anxiety. It has also cleared my head so i can be honest with my doctors and therapists and get more specific treatments from them.
  • Just hearing you speak helped me cope. I felt like I was in a therapy session. Thank you for this!

You are a lifesaver oh my god. I’ve been battling anxiety for about 4 weeks now. One day I just woke up and was panicking all day, and that lasted for about 2-3 weeks. Only time id get a break is when I was sleeping. But I’ve gotten better, at calming myself and understanding. Now I just occasionally feel weird, it really does help knowing you’re not gonna feel this way forever. The anxiety is gonna go away, it can come from stress building up too! I love you all, you’re gonna get through this :)
  • This NEEDS to be a poster. I want this on my wall. Do a PDF to get the info out there to those needing it immediately, but also offer nice prints as merch.

I have been suffering from anxiety disorder from the start of the pandemic and the thing that helps me the most is closing my eyes and focusing on my breath whilst telling my self that this will pass. Another thing during a severe panic attack is not reacting on it and staying still. I get the urge to move in a frantic way so while i dont act upon it, it makes it easier to deal. Another major thing is meditation. It helps. You will get through this and nothing bad will happen.
  • A good thing that helps me whenever I’m stressed and cannot think straight is try and remember what you ate for dinner three days ago. This tricks your brain think into retrieving information from the past distracting you from the present moment.
