When I Defeat An Entire Castle For A Book in Stoneshard

Once I was set loose on the world I went in search of the best items in the game. Monsters drop loot and castles have chests so I knew what I needed to find, Luckily it didn't take long for me to find a large tower guarded by some geared enemies. I fight my way through every room checking for those traps as I go. I have to think that there will be a great reward for finding this place and making it through alive. The final room has the leader and a guy I rescue. Was it worth it in the end? It might have been but I didn't bother to check. Stoneshard gameplay with my commentary as always!

Books aren't spent when you read them. You have nothing to lose by reading the Geomantic Treaty! They unlock spells in your skill tree, then you sell them.

Stoneshard looks like one of these games that with some updates it is gonna be great,but it is reaaaally early for example the have 8 magic types but you can level in only 2 of them(same with other skill trees)

If you plan on playing this... press W. You have two loadouts, which just means twice as many ways to kill things.

Sooooooo happy you are playing this game, it has so much potentials and the devs/community is wonderful. To anyone reading this and interested in the game know that it is very very early access and much more content is on the way.

OH it's called "Stone Shard", I honestly thought it was "Stones Hard" for a moment there. Which - let's be honest - sounds like a game DF would totally play.

A couple of notes. Who you sell what too matters. Know what heals certain things as stats matter a lot in this game. Minor injures can heal themselves over time, major can but is very tough to. Saving in this game is at certain points right now. Meaning that if you die before you sleep again you can potentially lose a lot of progress (though it seems you found that out). I was also slightly hoping to see you run into a bear as they love to one-shot you but that may not happen. And probably the biggest thing is that it is in BETA. It came out just a little under a week ago (06/02/2020) so expect a lot of problems. This message is both to you DF and to others who might read it. It is a great game idea and i hope it continues to grow to be even better. Other then that I absolutely LOVE the work you do. The passion you put into each of your videos is something rarely seen and even fewer can keep up with the near daily upload schedule you keep. Keep up the amazing work you do and I hope you revisit this game in the future.
