  • Why does the West not want its people to know about cities like Chongqing in China? While China’s building high-speed trains, others are still waiting for the bus that’s always late. At this rate, China will have space elevators before some countries fix their potholes! (You know which countries we’re talking about)

I just visited China in March. It blew my mind. Not just the high rises and bridges but also the maintenance they run really, really shocked me.

As a Chongqing native, I sincerely welcome friends from all over the world to visit China, take a walk and visit Chongqing. If only through the narrow views of the media, then what you see in China will be distorted, incomplete and not objective. How about China? You won't know until you see for yourself.

Team with China: You get mega infrastructure investments. Team with Uncle Sam: You get military bases.

The China government has built the best infrastructure for the people, and everyone can enjoy it.
  • The Chinese government never intervenes and gets involved in war with other countries,.. and focuses on building its country with excellent infrastructure for the welfare of its people, and the Chinese government helps other countries in need with mutually beneficial cooperation,..!

I'm writing my dissertation, and when I read literatures I find a interesting academic article. It compares some of the news about China and the United States in Africa, from Western media. The results of the study show that although the news about the United States in Africa is mainly related to military expansion, its image is skewed in a positive direction and few people question its behavior. China, on the other hand, is in the news in Africa mainly for economic cooperation, but is often portrayed as a negative collaborator and considered a “new type of colonialism”. One really has to marvel at the power of “propaganda” in the Western media.😂

When we arrived last year from NY and landed in Beijing and then covered Xian, Chongqing, Shanghai, Guangzhou we including my 96 year old aunt we were simply flabbergasted and we are making another trip next year.🙂

Cherry blossoms are originally from xizang and they are Chinese tradition,. The Japanese did cultural appropriation and made it theirs completely disregarding its Chinese origin, just like bonzai, which is also from China, called Penjing. Japan stole many others culture things from China and never recognized it.

And that's why the world shouldn't "compete". China nurtures win-win relationships. We can all win together!

Chongqing is called a foggy city of China. How lucky you were that you had such a sunny day in Chongqing.
  • @hattiewu1151
Chongqing was the temporary capital of China at one stage during the World War 2.

China is so safe and Beautiful, great to bring kids and whole Family..
  • It’s really shocking. For such a large city with a population of 30 million, everything is so clean and tidy everywhere we go. The quality of the people is so good! 😀

Cherry tree was planted in China since 2 century BC. The cross-breed variety of Cherry tree was introduced by monks in 8 century AD to Japan. Through centuries, different varieties were made through different breeding and became a symbol of Japan
